just listened to it for the first time.

This album beats any other comeback album i have ever heard. AIC I am talking to you. By crooked steps is easily my fav, and easily in my top 10 SG songs. That song just slays. Eyelids mouth comes second and rowing comes third.

oh and.... MATT belongs in SG. I'm not saying I want him to leave PJ, not at all. But he belongs in SG, this album reinstated that. His drumming on the album is better than anything he has ever done in PJ both studio and live. Non state actor is a good example. That is SG doing math rock.

Yep, we get it tomorrow too. They said the importers get it to them early so people buy from them vs importing themselves.

Haven't received my password in CA yet but I'm guessing they'll be individualized, one-time use type passwords, and I would think anybody who pre-ordered would have done so with the intent of trying for tickets.

About what time locally are people receiving their passwords?

My lucky Soundgarden hat came through! I hope to hear more success stories. By Crooked steps was playing while I got tickets, so it's now my new lucky song.

I just bought the 5 classic album SG box set. All my cd's were so scratched that I couldn't even put them on itunes.
    Alright, alright, alright!

ISO of a ticket for Toronto. God, this is painful. 2 tickets of that is even possible but one for sure.

    HELP!

    And speaking of painful:

Here it goes... 2 quality, uninterrupted run thru - proper listens...
I will admit I was super psyched when I watched Matt and Chris do an interview and state: "this album will be right where we left off"...I was also skeptical, truthfully, as to how could they possibly regain that sound and classic "Soundgarden feel"...
Well, blasting a tune like By Crooked Steps makes me feel like these guys have really never been gone...
Holy cow. Matt's drumming is unreal...I read someplace earlier in this thread that this is band Matt should be in and that PJ cages this guy up...I don't know about all of that, but man do I wish we could unleash THIS Matt in PJ - damn. And I'll admit, I think I've under-rated Shepherd's bass my whole life, it is staggering good (GREAT) on this album - when I heard Halfway There - I just about flipped out! A Thousand Days Before, Blood on The Valley Floor and Eyelid's Mouth all are great tunes that make you wonder why the hell did these guys stopping making music for so long?

GREAT album. Not good, GREAT. I am so happy to have a super Soundgarden album - full of new material - this stuff is going to be awesome live!!! There is a lot of great energy in this album and I'm thankful these guys did it.

For the tickets on Ticketmaster or craigslist....do those people NOT realize they have to not only pick up the tickets but go straight into the show afterwards. They can't pick them up then go outside and sell them.

Not sure how these people are going to get their tickets to their intended buyers. Just sayin'

I was just at the Phoenix this past Monday for the GROUPLOVE show (don't ask ... but it was surprisingly psychedelic) and yes, for will call, they looked at the list and gave me a small-like raffle ticket and I immediately entered.
