looking at getting my hands on a stupid ass bb gun for shits and giggles. could sit in my apartment & take out targets taped to a sheet of plywood. maybe venture out yonder & take out cans. i also believe i want a combat style shotgun or riot shotgun as they are known. gonna start savin up them bones.

these things i learned at an early age. my family hunted when i was a kid. i learned gun safety from my grandfather and dad. grandpa (dad's dad) was a WWII army veteran who fought in the south pacific.

i think many believe a gun & bullets lying in the closet is insane and only asking for death and in a hurry. when in fact this is not the truth by any stretch of the imagination. safety, safety, safety.

at this common department store they sell these way badass pellet & bb guns. they have a bb gun that looks exactly like a .357 magnum. on the label it says, "shoots as fast as you can pull the trigger"

i thought, "wow...cool"

$80 some bucks & it's yours. this thing looks just like a bulky ass .357 magnum all huge & even has killer hand grips. the thing shoots bbs. frickin sweet. wonder if it is gas cartridge powered or whatever? they also have the traditional piece of shit Daisy brand lever action bb guns which are a frickin hoot to mess around with.

i see a bb gun in my future

everyone might wanna try & load the clips for the rifle used by the u.s. in WWII & korean wars.



the m1 garand is a piece of american history in your hands. dad had one & it was a solid hoot to shoot & a miracle to load the clips for. thousands of people smashed their thumbs in the chamber when loading it giving the gun the nickname m1 thumb.

it takes a few days time to get the hang of filling the clips. i am amazed we were even capable of fighting in those wars & having any kind of success at killing another human being.

these rifles fire with bucket loads of sand & dirt dumped in them. they are very accurate & go for very long distances.

i understand.....21 years in airforce..3 mistakes with guns...in front of me..
1nd someone took safety messures with the magazine in.. :roll:
bullet pass my ear..
2nd was a guy with those military dogs,he try to put the gun out and the P7 fired..no one get hurt..
3rd..during training,FN blocked,guy panicked..and accidently shoot a guy next to him.
if you could see the fear at his eyes,when he was lay down in blood..
you will understand why i say..those shit are bad and made only to kill

all 3 times..trained people..cant imagine the mess with civilians

every single 10c member and every single u.s. citizen should (for their own education on this subject) take a firearms course at their local firing range. it is for your own good. i feel you can add better & clear to a debate if you no more about the topic.

i can't add to a topic on 3sums because i have not ever participated nor wish too. i cannot debate fully nor elect to throw it out if i have not had a homosexual experience.

i firmly believe many here would be better off fully knowing they can defend their loved ones 29 minutes quicker than the cops who are over 20 miles away. maybe the lawmen are actually only 1 minute away. in 1 single minute or second bad things happen.

at this exact moment i feel like a doorknob for not owning a gun.

I think opinions can be thrown in the ring though (hell knows I've got more than a nickel's worth to toss in on various subjects, menages a trois included!)

A shooting lesson is likely in my future - something I'll probably try at some point - and while I don't feel bad for not owning a gun, I see no reason for me not to, should I choose to do so.

No to all..But I have handled a rifle..an M16A2..load and unload, break it down and put it back together..Was in the Marine Corps and earned expert marksmanship.

here is your safety course

1. always treat a gun as if it is loaded
2. never point a gun at something you don't wish to shoot
