I'm increasingly convinced that we get what we deserve. We buy into the one liners and bs the candidates spin. We eat it up. Now people seem to think that to run on the same ticket they have to be on the same page on every issue. Tht is just stupid. A I said we get what we deserve.

Cincy I don't care that they disagree quite explicitly on their economic, social, and political views, but I do care that Paul Ryan is a fucking freakshow, and Mitt is a haughty dickwad. Are Obama and Biden that much different from these two? No, at least not enough in my mind. However, when presented with the option it's quite clear which option I'm most comfortable with and it's not people who will work to divide us further between those that have power and those who do not. Obama and Biden are bad enough, but neither are in the same range as Romney and Ryan.

:lol: I just read a few of the posts on this topic........
boy if Romney wins there will be some pissed off people on this forum, I remember posting on the train that if Obama wins we would be in trouble...to some I was right and to some I was wrong but if "Mitt" wins this election I can't wait to see the babble that erupts on the train  and at the end of his term if it's 8 or 4 years people can blame the problems the new pres. is facing on him so if Romney wins what will he have to fix that was left behind by the Obama group ?

    Bingo.

I think that's called "selective quotes" or "selective journalisn" quite like that webpage. You really are quite lost if you believe single votes by politicians are determined solely by them and don't follow other protocol and circumstance. Furthering that you keep avoiding the point I make about Obama being a murderer correct. I mean he signed the order to assasinate Bin Laden correct? There wasn't anything else that went into that decision correct? I mean he basically just wanted to kill Bin Laden one day so he woke up and said "you know what guys...today we kill Bin Laden". He signed the order adn it was done. I guess that makes him a murderer as much as Paul's vote on this single issue makes him what this "alternative" lifestyle page paints him to be.

You forgot to mention how dangerous cars are.

That's something I agree with. On both sides of the spectrum (although honestly more on the right), I see people who will believe such odd and strange stuff that it makes me wonder how we'll make it.

Things like death panels, birth certificates, Obama being gay married in 1971 (when he was 10)...

    Like... How?

If you'd like I can blather on about how we should be nicer to people like Paul Ryan and maybe he'll find the goodness deep down in the tiny little cold marble of soot he calls a "heart" and we'll all have a cake with rainbows and flowers and smiles.

    :fp:

And then I can come back in and call myself names. Can you get banned for calling yourself names?

I said that some just take what they need And help others who don't have what they need.

No you said people SHOULD take what they need and I said who determines what anyone NEEDS? :fp:

So you didn't read the article. Because it wasn't about a "single vote" but how he has 100% of the time voted against any and all glbt issues... Adoption, DADT, DOMA, hate crimes, ENDA, immigration, marriage equality and even anti-bullying. Over his 7 terms.
Furthering that you keep avoiding the point I make about Obama being a murderer correct.

Well if you mean your desperate and rather pathetic attempt to change the subject to something else, then yes... I'm ignoring it.
I guess that makes him a murderer as much as Paul's vote on this single issue makes him what this "alternative" lifestyle page paints him to be.

Like I pointed about above, it's many issues... Over many years... And many votes. A "pattern," if you will.

I realize you're getting a juvenile kick out of telling me I'm an "alternative lifestyle" but that says more about you than anything else.

And calling The Advocate (a news magazine that been in print since the early 70s and has won a lot on journalism awards) an "alternative page" and comparing it to a nazi website shows how desperate you are to make your "points."

Wow...you really are quite lost and out in the stratospehere somewhere of how the real world works. :fp:

Geez, I hope you don't rely solely on mainstream news sites for your info - they can be the most biased of all. If anyone wants to be try well informed, alternate news sources are really important! Just because it's not on CNN or MSNBC or fox or whatever doesn't mean it's automatically untrue. Ryan's extensive history on LGBT related votes is well documented. The Advocate is, in this case, an expert source on the topic. Did I read you compare the advocate to neo-nazi propaganda???? :fp: The Advocate does of course have a platform, but they also know the importance of fact so that they don't degrade themselves as a source of correct and intelligent information so as to not compromise their position.

And there are plenty of "neo-nazi" websites that can quote facts and then blur those lines with subjective thought. Keep that in mind.

    They are.

It sucks when things get brought down to their logical ends and there's no where to go from there doesn't it. If someone whole heartedly wants to judge Paul because of the way he voted...fine. You need to look at the other side. Obama is a murderer.

Just read back. :fp: That is unless you edited it. Guess I should have went back and checked my grammar a few posts back since that's what you're more concernied about.

Hm... I also don't think I've insulted your grammar. Can you point me to that?

Let's see... you're racking up quite a list of things you said are easy to find...

    • Neo Nazi sites that say Paul Ryan is pro-gay.
    • 50 mainstream sites that say Paul Ryan supported the end of DADT.
    • my saying that people should only take what they need and then give the rest away like "communist Russia."
    • me insulting your grammar.

Or maybe you can just learn when to fold them and walk away. You're embarrassing yourself, now.

I read multiple news sources a day and take them all into consideration...but then again...the website that supports the "alternative lifestyle" must be the only one that speaks the whole truth correct?! First time in political histrory there is one totally unbiased news source out there! I always look at it this way...Consumer Reports...huge magazine in this country...they supposedley rate products without bias correct? Well the person that's testing that particuliar car, tv, kitchen appliance, still at the end of the day has his preference. Can he really get into that Chevy and say it's better than the FOrd...when at the end of the day, he leaves his office and gets into the FOrd he chose to buy and drives home? Any news source is nothing but opinion. Read them all and make up your own mind.

Word of advice...just scroll back. Doesn't take a genius to do that. And also you're good at...no think you're good at putting words into other people's mouths. You need to keep reading man. "Neo-Nazi sites say Paul Ryan is pro-gay"!?:lol::lol::lol::lol: Good one trying to slip that one in there too...along with the rest of your "points"!:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
  • (slipped that one in, figured it would be a freebie since you apparently read those websites. There actually ARE neo nazi sites who say that he's pro-gay because he once voted for the ENDA. Mind you he only did that so he could kill it moments later, but there you go.)

Actually all of the "points" you made I never said. You may interpret them that way or transform them that way...but I never said them. You did comment about my grammar but that I don't give a shit about. And yes I have seen Nazi sites and have read them. I've seen the Advocate as well. I've read webpages from Cananda. Pages from Iraq. Sites from Germany. I even read TMZ. I'm all over the web reading shit. Doesn't make me support or be anything other than an information seeker to forge my own opinion.

Well but yeah... you did. That advocate article listed a bunch of votes and you said you could find 50 other news sources to contradict that. I told you to find one. Just one. One article that contradicted anything in that advocate article.

And instead you told us that you have a pool. Then said I said things I didn't say. Then tried to go theater of the absurd and said that the president is a "murderer." Because that was easier than admitting that you... kinda got owned.
You did comment about my grammar but that I don't give a shit about.

Yeah, no. Care to point that out?
And yes I have seen Nazi sites and have read them.

    Color me so surprised.

so your egocentric views are pieced together from various sources. yet you still blather on with nonsense cause you can't handle it when others make valid points based on facts & reason. after reading your posts you do come across as foolish...i also agree that you don't make sense.

I actually make perfect sense. Call me egocentric...call me any name you want. I say the way things are...I post what I feel...I post facts. I can handle a lot worse than somone can sling on me here. If people want to live in some fantasy world of how they want it to be...great, go change it. When it's changed I'll support it. Until then, it's the way it is. BTW...did you know Obama is a murderer?
