    BUT

    I do think it's BS that larussa is a "first ballot hall of famer" when he made his name on juicers but the juicers can't get in (same with torre)

McGwire's shit was embarassing. When Martinez loses his cool it's embarassing. TLR's style was not one I blindly agreed with. I fucking hate retaliation in baseball. I worked with a guy's family in clinicals who sufferred a TBI thanks to getting plunked in head during a baseball game cos' the coach saw it fit. Oh, but if I'm a life long fan, born raised in St.Louis and cheer for the Cardinals I'm automatically 'ok' with everything eh?

    You'd be an anomaly in terms of the card's fans I know. But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on that. Also, I never had a problem with retaliation. In fact, that hard nosed aspect of the game was all I ever respected out of LaRussa. There's rules in this game that people who never played at a high level will never understand.
