Love the offense and depth of the bench. It's too bad we drafted absolute dick all for pitching the last 5 years. Thank goodness for the Arrieta and Hendricks trades.

Cubs #8 prospect Trevor Clifton is taking a no hitter into the 8th for Myrtle Beach.
Looks like he may have surrendered one to the first batter in the 8th, by what I'm reading. "Clifton allowed just one hit over 7 innings and struck out six." Excellent outing though!
Wow. Now we're starting to get that comeback feeling again from last year. 7 out of the last 8. I can't wait to get to Chicago in a few weeks. Even though there's no games, the buzz in the city is enough. I'm feeling a nice little All the Way sing along!

Yes, that pitch to Bryant was a terrible call. I feel like that ump have us the short end of the stick all game

I'm heading out on the 18th to catch the last game against the Boo-ers. Haven't been to Wrigley since they installed the video boards, so the first event I gotta go to is a game. Guarantee Ed breaks out "All The Way" at one if not both shows. I want to get my picture taken with Ed & Clark! Doesn't even have to be a show day; it'll only take 2 minutes of everyone's time and I'll be on my way. @Kat@Sea@Santos L. Halper can we reach out to the Cubs and make that happen?!?!!!

Umm, THIS!!!! Got a pic with Clark (maybe not Clark, buy the old mascot, the one that got caught drunk I think) and my best man when we went for a Cubs weekend for my bachelor party in 2012. My dad did the same with his before he got married. It's a rite of passage in my family. A pic with Ed would be one of the best all time. I'm getting into town early the 20th. Hopefully, if you can make this happen, I don't miss out.

Giants shitting the bed. You gonna be a Rangers fan this fall? Indians? Orioles?
I love the "it's an even year" mantra being spewed. Also, why does every other fan base feel so threatened by the cubs? It's either true fear that the comments they've made over the years will become a thing of the past, or envy. Either way, it's pretty laughable. We haven't even been to the WS since we dropped the bomb.

Eat shit, haters!
Thank you for that. But im afraid nobody cares.
will myself to find a home, a home within myself we will find a way, we will find our place
They care, or they wouldn't feel the need to spew hate.
I always find the hate from other fan bases laughable. I mean, really the only one who should hate the cubs are cubs fans, since we are the only ones they truly hurt. It really makes no sense.
