Chicago Cubs baseball!!!

chicago sportsnet seems to play whitesox twice as much as cubs this year.
Would be nice to watch them like I have been able to for the past 36 yrs.The worst of times..they don't phase me,
even if I look and act really crazy.0 -
Valuable to the Mets, yes. But only 43 games with them. The Tigers haven't really gotten any worse without him than they already were.Last-12-Exit said:
Then you can't forget about Cespedes for the mets. Since the trade, they have went from 2 games behind the Nats to 8 games up.HesCalledDyer said:Harper is having a phenomenal year, so it's hard to argue against him. But when I think of the true meaning of MVP, Rizzo means more to the Cubs this season than Harper does to the Nats.

I agree. But voters look at that shit. And I agree on the 2 awards.HesCalledDyer said:

Yeah, it's good that they look at stuff like that. I'd rather Cespedes get it based on the Mets success with him than have writers justify their votes by theoretical "stats" like WAR, which seems to be coming more and more common.Star Lake 00 / Pittsburgh 03 / State College 03 / Bristow 03 / Cleveland 06 / Camden II 06 / DC 08 / Pittsburgh 13 / Baltimore 13 / Charlottesville 13 / Cincinnati 14 / St. Paul 14 / Hampton 16 / Wrigley I 16 / Wrigley II 16 / Baltimore 20 / Camden 22 / Baltimore 24 / Raleigh I 25 / Raleigh II 25 / Pittsburgh I 250

Jesus fucking Christ. I know we're up 9-5 but bases loaded nobody out and can't score a single fucking run. Ridiculous. No lead is safe with our bullpen. Hope they can lock it up today but excited to be headed to tomorrows game. Been a long time since ive been to a game this important. Conflict of interest for me. Do i play with fire and hope SF wins tonight so i could potentially see a clincher tomorrow? Been lucky enough to see Zs nono and the last playoff game they won at Wrigley (game 2 of 03 nlcs) never saw a playoff clincher though.HesCalledDyer said:Once again, Lester pitches a gem and gets no run support. Ill bet you a dozen donuts and a cup of coffee.
I say Lester does not win 12 games.
For whatever reason, injury, the fact the Cubs suck, baseball season is cancelled due to frogs falling from the sky, etc.
I say Lester does not win 12 games.
How did I know in February that Lester was not going to win 12 games?
