So the Cubs still are paying $18 million of his contract and they only got a low tiered pitcher? Wow, talk about getting bent over! :fp:0 -

Are you kidding me?
They finally got rid of the BUM!!
Be happy!
What did you expect to get for a 37 year old, who can barely hit .250?Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....0 -
Obviously there weren't to many other offers out there.
Theo had to be thrilled to finally get rid of Soriano.
The guy was a complete bust, for the money we signed him for.
He averaged 27 HR's and 79 RBI's.
And made a TON of money.
I would have traded him for a box of Cracker Jack.....Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....0 -

Now, if we could have traded him for the Cracker Jack PJ Wrigley poster, that would have been an awesome trade.I lost a bet...0 -

I guess I wouldn't feel so bad if it was the Cubs who picked up the 6 million instead of the 17 million. That's some serious bullshit.
Picking up close to 75% of the guys salary just to get rid of him? :fp: :fp:0 -
Pretty bad umping last night. If a pitch is a called strike 1 or 2, if it's in the same spot it should be strike 3.Alpine Valley 6/26/98, Alpine Valley 10/8/00, Champaign 4/23/03, Chicago 6/18/03, Alpine Valley 6/21/03, Grand Rapids 10/3/04
