The Reds have really owned us over the past few seasons. Guess its because they are a better team.

Anyone else not surprised Soriano is playing out of his mind in NY? Typical Cubs luck. Would have been nice if he could have been clutch for the Cubs. He seemed to be the king of hitting a 3 run HR when we were either down big or up big, but in the late innings of close games he was horrible. Hopefully NY does not make the playoffs. This just cements what I already knew, I'll never like Soriano ever.

Soriano has been on fire the last couple days - 13 RBIs and 4 HRs. That's more than the entire Cubs team has put together over the past 4 games.

Even with how well he has been playing, I am still happy that the Cubs got rid of him.

Arrieta looked good today. Hoping the Cubs can turn him into a quality pitcher

    Castro is a blithering idiot.

Plus he is a blithering idiot that we are going to be paying $60 million to over his contract

Castro may now have the worst contract on the team - maybe even worse than Edwin Jackson's

Now that Soriano is gone it's easily Castro.

$60 mill to a guy who may hit .250 with 12 HR by the end of the year.

....oh and a terrible defensive short stop. :fp:

DeJesus has been traded to the Nats for a player to be named later. I guess trading him saves the Cubs $2.5 million

I honestly don't see what Theo is seeing. I don't see him building this team into a winner. I knew it would be a few years before we would see improvement, but damn, right now its looking like another few years. The best move he's made is bringing pearl jam to Wrigley. This is very frustrating.

It really is frustrating and it seems that it is going to be frustrating for years to come. :x :fp:

But, yes, the best thing Theo has done is bring PJ to Wrigley. Maybe if he does that every year...I'll learn to deal with this crap-ass team.

I had tickets to last night's game and bailed at the last minute. Missed more Cubs offense than we have seen all week and a complete game. :fp:
