i just keep thinking about the type of person who goes to see a new Batman movie at midnight and i feel like they are some of the most innocent people in the world - and this guy decided to act out his scene from a movie/video game on them.

It is always easier to destroy something than it is to create something and I think that's why so many opt for that route. Takes about ten seconds to figure out a firearm well enough to kill yourself or somebody else, but playing a guitar takes time and practice. I can build a pipe bomb in a few minutes, but writing a novel is hard fucking work. It's easier to judge someone and automatically dislike them than it is to figure out what you might have in common...

I'm guilty of this behavior at times, but at least I try to be aware of it.

As long as money comes from the NRA into their campaigns...fat chance. Its the system, we go around telling other countries they cant do this, cant do that..yet we have a hard time looking in the mirror to fix ourselves.

I also can't imagine the second guessing going on...I'm sure the parent gave some thought to taking their 9 year old to see this movie (violence) and probably especially to the late night showing.

I sure hope people don't lose sight of the fact that it was 1 crazy person's terrible decision and don't beat themselves up over this. Although, if I were the parent, I would beat myself up and it would drive me nuts.
