We're still gonna find a reason to go in there. Mark my words. We will hit syria wether today, tomorrow or next week, we will and the domino effect of what happens next is gonna be a disaster at a scale not seen. If we hit syria, the whole world is gonna collapse.
    My prediction:

    1-we hit syria
    2-Russia hits Israel
3-syria hits Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries against them
4-the people of those Arab countries will rise up against there own government
5-china will side with syria and maybe even say they want the $$$ owned to them by us
6-we'll attack china cuz we dnt have the $$$ to give them
7-Israel will attack syria and Iran
8-Hezbollah jumps right into the action
9-basically a war NEVER seen like this. Not even WWII

God I hope I'm fucken wrong but that's what I feel is gonna happen.

Russia is not going to hit Israel.

First off, I'm no way a Glenn beckish fan nor do I agree with 99% of the stuff he says. The guys a clown. I stated my opinion about the subject. Let me ask u something, you ever been to syria? I have, 3 times in the last 5 years. If you want to discuss syria, I'm down with that.

    lolz...

victory...sure...Russia and Assad "won" something...you know, since O-bamz decided to address the need to do something about the use of Chemical Weapons (CW's), sent his request to Congress (as he should have) and then as the debate rages on (as it should), Kerry makes a good suggestion...Russia agrees with said suggestion and works with Assad to get rid of the CW's....yeah...damn that loser O-bamz...he should have bombed them without taking it to the people or congress....THAT would have been a "victory"....

ultimately, i think your forecast fails because it really isn't looking at the puppet masters in all these geopolitical conflicts ... if they do not benefit from the outcome - the outcome rarely happens ...

full scale war involving all 5 members of the security council less maybe France is not going to benefit the military industrial complex nor the other corporations looking to make a buck ...

sorry, for me, as someone who's watched TV a couple times and since G. Beck has been on said TV and since he likes to share doomsday scenarios, I found yours to be similar to something he may say...I didn't mean to make you sad...

anyhoo, sure, let's talk about Syria...since you're an expert...what should be done...? And where is the best place to visit...? Are there any good music venues...? are you supportive of the use of chemical weapons by the gov't on it's own people...? And how's the weather over there...?

Maybe there's a power struggle with the puppet masters? I see what you're saying and believe in the all mighty hidden hand at play but I just have this weird feeling that something big is gonna happen.

sure ... but if all those countries go to war ... it will not be good for any of them ... it's one thing to wage wars in the middle east, africa or latin america but definitely not where these guys live ...

That would be the greatest "Rube Goldberg" master plan ever created if true.

It's a victory for us that he and his administration bumbled and stumpled and changed their minds enough times that they stumbled into a safe-out that clearly was not in their intentions for the last several weeks.

Maybe Kerry can make an off-hand remark about fixing our economy and we can see what happens ... :corn:

Well well well, this Jeb from the woods of North Carolina wants to climb down from his tree and talk about a subject he has no fucken clue about. Ok, I'll play. Best place to visit in syria? How about old sham. Place is beautiful, a little touristy, but plenty of hookah lounges, oh and last time I was there, there was a Chinese restaurant with Chinese owners! Music venues, nah man, you're gonna have to go to Beirut for that. Weather is the same as anywhere else in the Middle East. Now as for your lame ass chemical weapons comment, I just want to thank you for reminding me that ONLY your fucken country along with its master (Israel) are allowed to use that shit on people. You know, Fallujah and Palestine, riddled with that shit. And as far as i know, NO CLEAR EVIDENCE it was used by assad and his army. if they did use it, id slam him just like i slam us and israel. Do yourself a favor before you climb back up your tree, go turn off your tv, it's killing your fucken brain cells.

I dnt give a fuck what part of NC you're from. Woods/coast who the fuck cares. You come on here throwing your weight around talking shit, pumping your boy "o-bamz" or whatever you call him. Like Jason P has stated, you have not been following this thread or news closely. Ya I visited syria 3 times and met some cool ass people. One of the people I met I was teaching him English. The guys dead now. Another friend I "had" who i watched soccer games with every night at the hookah lounge was driving to his parents house and was robbed and killed for NO FUCKEN REASON AT ALL. You say I'm sad, no, I'm pissed. You are the one that's sad. You know what I would do with syria? How about REALLY FUCKEN try diplomacy! How about "being neutral on a moving train." How about taking both sides to the table and TALK. But dropping fucken bombs on a country? For what? To show how big your dick is? Looks pretty small if you need that much force. Lets have another shock and awe

Well, he joing the KGB in 1975, left to join Yeltsin's staff in the 90's, was named President when Yeltsin resigned, has had a stranglehold on the USSR for the last 14 years while becoming one of the richest people in the world by sending his competition to prison and seizing their assets.

He basically did Judo on the US Administration. He used Obama's weight and strength as weapons against him.

The question is Can Putin Deliver.

The issue of how the UN inspectors can do their job in Syria while a civil war is in progress has not been answered.

The fact that the US is continuing to arm the various so-called Syrian rebels groups makes it even harder for the Syrian military to protect the UN inspectors.

The US is stipulating that Syria will be held accountable to ensure the safety of the UN inspectors and to ensure they get access to the chemical depots.

We took 10 years in Iraq and it is still a shithole just like Kuwait. Now the US is pressuring Russia and Syria to get their act together within a week.

Here’s food for thought – if Assad really didn’t gas his own people, then someone’s plan to have the US bomb Syria and as collateral damage kill Assad failed. That group is still in Syria, so What’s next!!!!!

Although the report isn't in yet, UN leader believes they have "overwhelming" evidence that the Syrian gov't used chemical weapons on its people.

If so, Russia will have to admit their ally is a piece of shit and admit we were right?

    Syria's Rebels Gain Heavy Weapons
    Jeffrey White
    January 10, 2013

    ... REBEL HEAVY WEAPONS

For much of the war, armed opposition elements had only limited numbers of heavy weapons, mostly 23 mm ZU-23 light antiaircraft guns and "Dushka" heavy antiaircraft machine guns. Over the past few months, however, their arsenal has expanded, with rebels seizing weapons and ammunition from regime forces and stockpiles while producing some items on their own (e.g., artillery rockets, mortars, mortar bombs) (watch). Heavy weapons currently in their possession include:

    • Armored vehicles: BMPs and T-55, T-62, and T-72 tanks

    • Artillery (see below) or other indirect-fire weapons: single and multiple rocket launchers (captured and improvised); 122 mm, 130 mm, and 152 mm field artillery pieces; 82 mm and 120 mm mortars

    • Antiaircraft weapons: 12.7 mm and 14.5 mm heavy machine guns, 23 mm (ZU-23 and ZSU-23/4 "Shilka") and 57 mm antiaircraft guns, MANPADs (SA-7/16/24), and a few SA-8 Gecko surface-to-air missile (SAM) launch vehicles

    • Antitank weapons: Metis-M ATGMs, RPG-29 rocket-propelled grenade launchers, and 73 mm SPG-9 recoilless rifles
    ....
The opposition is also using rockets, mortars, and artillery to create greater amounts of indirect fire during siege operations (see below), allowing units to strike inside regime positions with reduced risk to the crews.

  • This REGION not just Syria is NEVER going to work it out. They NEED to fight apparently. It will be a horrible civil war. But it already is. We cannot help. We can only meddle. We will always get our oil. Sunni or Shiite can agree that the oil keeps flowing that will not change.

They will have to fight until every man and boy above 12 are dead or maimed. Every house will be destroyed TWICE. then the old men and women will decide maybe fighting over how to worship a god is not that big a deal. The Koran (sp?) is a pretty big book lets FINALLY read some other parts of it??

It's like West Virginia snake handling churches were at war with southern baptists. Makes no fucking sense. But have at it. 6,000 or so US soldiers killed is enough.
