Well..
My front lawn? Which is fucking TINY compared to some of yours?
Well I am about a month behind my neighbors.
I decided no matter what, I was going to kill each and every fucking weed I had. Whether it be by chemicals, or uprooting those fuckers, I was going to kill every fucking weed, and then work on the grass.
Well after killing the weeds, I have sprayed the lawn with some type of "lawn revival" crap I bought at Menards. I will spray it again next week. I have been watering the holy hell out of it the last 2 weeks.
Its looking much better.
But it still looks like CRAP!!!! hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe
I also threw a bag of seed on it a week or so ago.
I figured "What the hell, it couldnt hurt"
The birds were thrilled! hehehe
Fuckers!Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....0 -

i did that weed popping thing over a big chuck of my yard. back yard looks alot better, all though still some pots that need some grass. but the weeds are mostly gone. need to weed the side yard yet.
started poking holes in the front yard. front and part of the sides, the dirt is like one big brick. :fp: i'm gonna make it a twilight ritual to poke holes for a bit every night.81 is now off the air0 -

Here's my question:
Ever summer we get patches of grass that have thicker leaves and grow faster than the rest of our lawn. The day after we mow the grass, these patches are already longer than the rest of our lawn.
I know its not crabgrass (it doesn't grow i clumps) but I have no idea what type of grass it is and how to get rid of it.I just did the same damn thing.
I have the same issue with my lawn. It's annoying as hell. I'm soon tempted to just rip the whole yard up adn start over0 -

They have aerotor spikes that you can put on the bottom of your shoes. It's such a novel idea instead of taking a tool and look like you're stabbing the shit out of your lawn.
Plus it gives you a free hand to carry a cocktail in hand and walk aimlessly around your yard.0 -

Here's a new method for you 81. Try it out....tell me how it works out.
:corn:
Some home gardeners swear by an unorthodox method to make their lawns green again: Mix together 1 can of regular beer, 1 can of sugar soda, 1/2 cup of non-antibacterial dishwashing liquid, 1/2 cup of liquid ammonia, and 1/2 cup of mouthwash in a ten gallon sprayer attached to your garden hose and then spray your lawn. If your grass is very brown, spray every three weeks.0 -
