I was also at the Sydney show last night and it was just stunning. I got into Uncle Neil because of the Pearl Jam association and I'm so glad I did. That was one of the best shows I have ever been to.

It's great, and not surprising, that PJ fans get what Crazy Horse is all about. There have been lots of negativity surrounding this Australian tour since the first show in Perth.

Yeah I've seen quite a few negative reviews and comments about this tour, mostly saying the same thing - too many jams, the solos are too long, play the hits, blah blah blah. I get that not everyone is a die-hard fan but it's not as if Neil and the Horse have ever been about 'playing the hits'! If you're going to spend $150+ on tickets and get angry because he didn't play 1 or 2 songs (from a 45 year career!) then you're nuts. The Alchemy setlists are all online so it's not as if it's a surprise.

Saying that, any set that includes Powderfinger, Cinnamon Girl, Mr Soul, Fuckin' Up, Hey Hey and Heart Of Gold seems like a pretty good 'hits' set to me! :D

Well, he/they were FABULOUS on Tues night & I'm doin it again tonight!!

I got front row right in front of Neil! YAY &&& all the crew were on my flight back home including the head carpenter who also works for Soundgarden & is doing the May tour with them who sat right next to me. It was cool talking to him/them.

Right, a day at work to get through between now & concert. Do you think I'm going to be concentrating on work much? :o;):lol:8-)

Went to see Neil and the Horse last night in Auckland for the first time, simply put the man's an absolute legend, he was on fire, soloing up a storm with his amazingly good band and having a great time. They played for nearly 3 hours!

Neil Young & Crazy Horse set list:

    Love And Only Love
    Powderfinger
    Born In Ontario
    Walk Like A Giant
    Hole In The Sky
    Heart Of Gold
    Twisted Road
    Singer Without A Song
    Ramada Inn
    Fuckin’ Up
    Cinnamon Girl
Surfer Joe & Moe The Sleaze
    Mr. Soul
Hey Hey, My My (Into The Black)
    Danger Bird
Roll Another Number (For The Road)

    A really good review here: http://13thfloor.co.nz/reviews/concert- ... h-21-2013/

Fucking amazing show again! Jeezuz those guys can rock. I totally felt like, there we go, that is where guitar rock solos came from!! Loved it, so glad I finally got to see NY&CH in full glory & in my own hometown! :D

e.t.a. You know what I've realised? This week, the 2 NY&CH gigs, are going to go down as 2 of the best gigs of my life! They were abso-fucken-lutely amazing!! I feel so priviledged that I got to see all those guys do their thing! YAY! :D

"Tonight's the Night". When it's the right time to listen to this album, nothing else will do.

One of the Horse's best. Feed back's back! When this album came out the record store where I bought it had the full sized promo poster in the window. (The photo is very similar to the one on the album cover with "Feed back's back" written printed on it). I asked the store owner how much he wanted for it and he said, "Oh, just take it." I seriously flipped out! I guess it pays to be a regular customer. :D Looks like this one:

Not quite, got this one from Discogs, US$50 including shipping, so am pretty happy with that, such a great album! Also have another Neil album turning up soon... :)
