My Man! Thanks Joe! I didn't know this until your reply! Thank you!

Did you notice the stickers at the merch booth in Albany? Was there a "Bat creature" sticker for sale there? Hartford had a bird sticker and I was wondering if they were making show specific stickers to match the posters. If the bird stickers weren't sold in Albany, maybe you could only get them in Hartford.

Thanks so much for clarifying RM. I was not exaggerating with my rant either. I was totally frustrated over it and gave up asking. I wish I had run into you guys!

By the way, I just burned my Toronto 5/10 flacs and printed up the disc labels and Jewel case. I'm so glad they're doing this for us. Tomorrow's commute to work will be sweet.

You forgot "Taco Bell is open" ;)

    Joe threw up?

Yes, I thought the room that Julian wandered into that was blasting Led Zep had Jack Daniels there. Instead it was Jim Beam. Jim Beam and I have had a messy history thanks to many nights drinking with Eric (My college buddy who went to Camden 03 and the Wachovia Center) lat year.

The tastes of Beam makes me wretch ever since I went camping one night and drank almost half a bottle down straight with no chaser.

It was great though Julian just walked into the room - there were 3 guys and a girl. Maybe 25 years old each and he just grabbed a beer did a shot, came back to our room and called me in there. We then did another shot. The people in the room started staring at us weird like "who the fuck" are these people so I exited stage right. Julian followed shortly and then the Beam hit me and exited quickly.

Sorry I didnt get a chance to meet you this weekend MC...I heard you did well on the Hartford posters!! ;)

Quick question for you, which program did you use to print up the CD labels?? I have one of the Epson printers that allows you to printdirectly onto th eCD but the CD labels are huge in Adobe when I copy them into the .jpeg format to import them.

Also, how good do the FLAC files sound??? I may need some help on how to go about downloading them. I bought the MP3's but was wondering about how much of a difference the FLACs are.

No problem. RM is probably my 2nd favorite PJ song ever. (It and Present Tense always switch abck and forth for me. I'm a No Code Guy so no YFC for me ... lol)

When I heard it with Mike doing the solo I almost lost it. I've bitched a lot about MSG2 and the Boom RM solo that sounds like a fucking carnival pipe organ. I can only hope we get it again this tour.

As for stickers, I didn't really look. Sorry I can't help you with that.

I will have more updates as I go through the thread, but Fanch I thought you'd like to know that Julian and I were singing along to Country Roads when it came on the radio today just outside of Philly.

A lil John Denver never hurt anyone, and I applaud your singing the WV State Anthem.

It looks like all had fun this weekend, but it appears to have been a bit disjointed socially with everyone all over the place. I hope it's more together for the Camdens.

PhillyPJ, we should announce the "Fanch & PhillyPJ Drinking Tour 2006" with proceeds going to the CCFA. Furthermore, you could come to the Cincy show and make the tour a national one.

Yep I agree. I need to update my request list. I've already gotten 4 songs in 2 days off of it and one exta (I'm Open) I wasn't even expecting.

After hearing I'm Open, Rats and Satan's Bed this weekend, I would be surprised if Ed gets hammered one night, rolls out on stage with an accordion strapped on goes into Bugs.

The only thing that would surprise me would be hearing Leash. ;)

I'll get you squared away. I use Nero for everything. It is very easy. Spend the extra money on the flacs because there is a big difference in my own opinion. Don't skimp on your Pearl Jam ;)

Send me a PM and I'll answer any questions you have. I'll give you the link to the conversion software I use to convert from flac to wav. Its free. I'll tell you how to use this too.

I use the the picture utility in adobe and copy the artwork image to the clip board and past it onto the respective nero label template. You slide and drag the image to fit and it works perfectly. I can explain all that to you too.

I have an HP photo printer and everything has turned out nice. It's fun too.

Awesome!! I'm gonna stop at Best Buy after work tomorrow and purchase Nero. I really like this Epson printer for the CDs, I never gets those peel and stick labels right, this print directly to the CD works awesome. I have an HP photo printer too for the jewel case labels.

Once I get Nero installed and all, I'll be sending you a PM if you dont mind to help me with the DL of the FLACs.

You had an awesome start Joe. Only going to Hartford makes me feel like I'm missing the first disc in a classic boot. The guys really sound great and I like the lasers. I'm thrilled I have 5 shows left.

WMA is a dream of mine...one of many.

John Denver is cool in moderation. I feel the same way about Frank Sinatra. Sometimes its good to put something in the player that you don't normally listen to and recharge a bit.

Camden will be everything and we're getting TWO posters baby!

So here's the scene - upstairs at Sweet Janes around 12:30.

Julie, Bubba, Barely Alive, Colorsblend, and GardenDogg all have bailed out and left Julian and I alone at the bar next to the jukebox and dartboard. We're drinking and waiting for 4Heather and her husband to get back from the show.

Then a 5'11 blonde in tight jeans and a white tank top who was really attractive comes between me and Julian and starts talking to us.

Girl: "Are you guys playing darts?"
Me: "No, we've just been sitting here for awhile, but we'd love to play some darts if you can find them."
Girl: "Are they near the boards or do you have to get them from the main bar downstairs?"
Me: "I don't know - I haven't seen any darts since I've been sitting here. Maybe you can go check downstairs for some?"
Julian then drunkenly interrupts the girl as she was about to respond and loudly announces, "You know You're really fucking hot!!!"

Girl then drops friendly demeanor and quickly backs away from us to never return again and stares at us in disgust for remainder of night from the otherside of the 2nd floor of the bar.

I then tell Julian that next time "He needs to keep what's he's thinking to himself and not scare off future girls. " ;)

Awesome story. But did she have a thyck azz?

I remember a dude in high school that I was buddies with. We went out one night (I was a young fanch, 16 or so), we were checking out this girl who was slightly bent over playing an arcade game. We were like 5 feet from her. Then...

My buddy: "Damn that bitch has a nice fucking ass!"

Girl with the nice ass: *turns & scowls

Buddy: "Fuck yes I'm talking about you!"

Dude was ripped and was embarrassing. I should also add that women (well, girls) loved this dude and he was always lined up. I dunno. Maybe Julian should have said that one instead.

You had an awesome start Joe. Only going to Hartford makes me feel like I'm missing the first disc in a classic boot. The guys really sound great and I like the lasers.

Wait...........so the lasers stuff wasn't bullshit?

The lasers are real. They look like something out of a Poison video.

All I know is we might get Ed in leatherchaps singing Unskinny Bop because they got the lasers for the song now. ;)

    Whu whu WHAT!?
That's what I said when I was told that the Hartford posters were sold in unlimited quantities to people when the night before they were 1 per. Hell, they wouldn't even sell me 1 limited men's hoodie and 1 limited women's hoodie- I had to choose between the two the "1 per" rule was so strict.
I honetly could not find one person to fill me in on how Red Mosquito was played on Friday night- Boom/ no Boom. How could you be at that show and not know what the fuck was going on? The PJ concert scene is being taken over by Phish fans who are more concerned with getting high then what's going on up on the stage. Nobody knew what the fuck was played. Thanks a fucking lot EW.
That's ok, because I could not honestly find one person to tell me why the concession rules were changed or not honored from one night to the next regarding the posters. I think the PJ concert scene is being taken over by inconsiderates who are more concerned with themselves and sometimes Ebay than what's going on up on the stage myself. Nobody knew what the fuck happened, but nobody had any posters almost everywhere I looked. Thanks a fucking lot to the people I saw later with 4, 5, 6, 7....posters in their bags.

Kudos to you for the acknowledgement of Unskinny Bop. I hate that song, but it's Poison and it's 2006, so yeah.

I heard that Pearl Jam is going to be using THIS certain stage from 1977 at the Cincynatty show. I heard it from a good source, I swear.

Mrs. BA had to stay in Hartford to finish her shift......she was a lil slow on the drink order but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt since she was pretty much the only waitress in the place.

"I'd pay off her student loans" LMAO :D

Btw, Julian had another fundraising idea for the tour which I helped contribute too.

We were talking about Single video theory and I said how they need to have commentary for the dvd.

So we came up with the idea to tape the Yield Council while drinking and watching SVT in real time and make a cd of it and sell it as official running commentary of SVT to be sold as a companion for it.
