    Well, I was trying to hold off this historic post and use it for something...better, maybe...
    but then I thought that this is a reason as good as any other.
    Plus, I'm also tired of not posting.

    The **OFFICIAL** PHILLY TAILGATE FLAG is done and I will be picking it up today. I'll take a picture of it and post an image tonight so those of you who are still interested in such things can check it out. You should all like it. I'm glad that I followed through and got it done.

    So this is post #1000.
    I'm am proud that it involves PEARL JAM and Philadelphia. Camden = Philadelphia on a Pearl Jam tour. Don't doubt that. The flag will look great flying over the party. I just hope that I get to see it there.

    Great to hear and just the thing to get this thread back on track. Now that most of the planning is done for other shows we can focus on the grandaddy of them all, the 2 shows in Philly over Memorial Day weekend. Can't wait to see what the flag looks like lew and I'm still in for getting one.

    Damn, Philly is only five weeks away.
    That last week in may is going to be one amazing ride.
    It would be my guess that the band will realize that many of the same fans will be hitting all of those shows so we should get to hear some well rounded set lists.
    I hope the openers are varied. I love the opener. It is so cool when Ed walks out on stage with his notebook in hand and raises it mid stride to acknowledge the crowd. I can't wait for the shows to start.

    I gotta tell ya, if the prices of the airfare and everything keep shooting up, I may just bag the whole weekend. As much as I wanna go the prices are getting out of hand!!

    LOL.....I got back and forth, one day Im excited to go and all ready and then I go and check out airfare/car rental/hotel/beer/food and all the expense and I think "Am I crazy?!?! All that money for two concerts?!?" and then I get in a mood and feel like just not going. Today is one of those days!

    Last time I checked US Air it was $599.60 for a straight through flight from PHILA-SEATTLE.
