Im not too worried about getting tickets to the show. How long did the tickets for the first show last, like 2 days? BA isnt around until later so neither of us have access to the Goods section until like 3pm, but Im not anticipating the tix being gone by then.

but i'll need one for the first one too. :(

One negative aspect about camping is that you will wake up at 7am-8am due to the sun pouring down on your tent, making it a little greenhouse. Like I said, I don't have strong feelings either way, I just wanna hang out with the group. Hopefully the group won't fragment into 4 groups of 2.

I'm out of the offce in meetings until later today, so I'll be out of pocket while tix go onsale. I will eagerly check here when I get back around 4pm to see if I have Gorge II. Jen is getting our tix, and she's a trooper so I'm not worried. :D

I wonder if my boss will wanna listen to 8 on our way over?

The early wake up is one thing I'm worried about as well. I mean after a concert and then hanging out to an ungodly hour - only get a few hours of sleep will be rough for a few days.

    Aww that's just mean...
Well changed my flight... flying back monday still 10PM departure though :( ohh well

And I'm not worried about getting up early. If I need to sleep I'm sure I'll sleep but think it would be worth the sleep deprivation to just be able to kick back and relax out in the woods and take in the beautiful scenery and clean air.

In July, they average about a quarter inch of rain a year. I'd say that is in our favor.

what's up Fanch? Yes, i have experienced the "hot" tent situation. In Tennessee, around 6:30-7am, it gets over 100 degrees during the summer. Makes you wake up almost immediately no matter how late you stayed up. This is why I would prefer a hotel, and just hanging out with you guys all day long before each show. I think that would work out...

Anyone other than Mike, Jimmy, Me, Carrie, Mo and her sister going to camp? That drive is pretty shitty after a show and through the middle of nowhere with no street lights and just complete darkness through a bunch of windy roads in the mountains.

I told you that you could sleep in the van away from all the bugs and then when it gets hot you can crank up the A/C ;)

haha. the band wouldn't have that. think of all the damage i'd do with the exhaust.

this hotel vs. camping thing is giving me a headache.

Do what you want - there are only a handful of us that are camping, the rest are going to a hotel. Im sure sitting in a car for 12 hours over a 48 hour period is a lot of fun :) We will be thinking of you as we drink and eat and relax after the show ;)

What about trying to get a hotel in a nearby town? I was looking into that last night... someone said the town of Ellensburg is only 45 minutes away, I think that's very doable.

I haven't committed one way or the other yet. The only thing I've committed to was two PJ shows, a Red Sox game and flying out to Seattle on Thursday and back on Tuesday.
