You and your boyfriend going to camp out?? ;)

Damn show is over 3 months away and I'll all revved up about it, kinda like last year with Philly at the end of the tour.

Remind me to smack you when we're in Vegas! :)

I don't know what that jackass is doing. For some reason now all the sudden I cant get back into the Goods section of the 10C site so if Im going to the 2nd show, I'll have to harrass him to get the tickets again.

Ahh that sucks... I'm waiting to hear from jimmy on whether he's going to both shows or not.

And I totally agree with the 3 or 4 or 5 person groups, there is no way we'll be able to decide as 12 people what we all want to do nor should we. It will be a great time in seattle and the Gorge no matter what we do... Personally I think camping makes sense both time and moneywise, as long as its not that much of a hassle getting a tent or sleeping bags there. Think I might wait till tomorrow to change my flight just to make sure I have tickets.

Julie is doing her civic duty and handing out beers to runners at the Boston Marathon who just gave up on the race a few miles from the finish.

Camping seems to be the most reasonable way to me with travel time and expense as well as gas prices. Plus get to enjoy the great outdoors. When will I ever be out in god's country again?

This is an awesome idea. I camped before Noblesville 2003 and it was awesome. I wouldn't want to do every night but making the 3-hour drive, each way, two days in a row is a bit much.

Danielle, camping before Pearl Jam is very YIELD and you'd love it, I promise! Chrom & I will grill for all you fine ladies.

So I just had this really fucking crazy idea.

July 15 - Fly to San Francisco, see show.
    July 16 - See show.
July 17 - Tour San Fran
    July 18 - See show.
July 19 - See Giants game.
July 20 - Fly to Seattle.
July 21 - Continue trip as planned.

For me to fly from BWI to San Fran to Seattle is only $520 roundtrip - that isnt too bad

Hahahaha.....well i would want nothing more than to feel very YIELD, but I just don't think I have any desire to camp! I certainly love grilled food, but maybe I can take a doggy bag back to the hotel...haha! And by the way...I am a VS kind of girl...haha! I do love YIELD bigtime, but VS is my first choice!

    3 Hour drives are nothing.

I drove by myself 6 hours each way to Mansfield for Boston 2 in 2003.

Then a week later I did the same for Boston 3 and then the next day - actually 4 hours after I got home from a nice and early 6 AM Pat's cheesesteak visit - I drove 3 hours to Hershey up and back.

I did all of this with a bad axle on my car with full knowledge that one bad pot hole and my tire is gone and so were my tour dreams.

So I have no problem with 3 hour drives up and back. Personally I wouldn't mind camping, but like I've said earlier - we have plenty of time to decide.

I wouldn't say plenty of time. Now that people have a reason to camp there, camping spots are going to fill up pretty fast. I'm willing to fly two tents out, they both sleep 4, but I'd recommend only 3 to each for comfort factors.

That's cool. I'm sure we'll have this resolved in the next 7-10 days or so.

I'm thinking of changing my flight plans now. I'm glad I didn't book yet. ;)

Found a flight for 250 + tax leaves Thursday around 5 pm and departs Seattle 11 AM on Tuesday. Might just take a half day on Thursday and fly back on Tuesday now.

Now if I'm staying the extra night, camping might be a better idea. :)

I'm game for camping, even found a tent for $50 at target that sleeps 3 and could be checked on the plane. Looks like there were 200 or so spots left at wild horses today and I'm sure that will drop quick after tomorrow. Think its worth reserving a spot for two nights even if only 2 or 3 people are planning on staying?

    Gracey, don't be such a NYC prima-donna. ;)

I'm easy going, I'll camp, I'll go to a hotel, I'll do whatever. The important thing to me is that we don't break our group up because hanging out with everyone is a huge part of the experience.

Wow, that sounded really gay. Oh well.
