    Happy Easter...

Ok if/when there is a 2nd Gorge show, is it really worth getting back to the hotel at like 4AM, sleeping for 6 hours and then back on the road by noon at the latest?? Just a thought. I know camping would be a hassle but not sure if it would be worse than having to be in the car for 12 hours over 2 days.

If there is a second show, camping would be ideal. Then we'd have a hotel for Fri night and Sun night, camping Saturday night? It would be stupid to drive up and back, up and back. Or we can try to find a hotel in the middle of nowhere!

Well, by this theory, is it even worth getting a hotel room on Sunday if many of us are flying out at 7:30 in the morning. I mean if we get back to seattle at 4 or so is it worth it to sleep a couple hours.

I know after Hamilton last year, I took the 6 am flight back to Philly. After the show I went to the bar till two, drove an hour back to Kitchener, and then grabbed coffee and food till 4:30 or so and then went right to the airport.

With that scenario, no, a hotel isn't worth it on Sunday night if everyone is leaving early. I had that problem after Toronto - I flew out of Buffalo, and by the time I got to the airport it was about 4am, and my flight was at 6, so I opted not to get a hotel. I guess it will depend on flight times.

True.. depending on flight times on Monday it might be sensible to just hit Denny's for some food and just relax till flight time. Why spend $60 just for a shower, unless its a necessity.

I thought there were showers at the camp sites??? Maybe not... Either way I'm going to hold off on hotel reservation and changing my flight until I hear something concrete.
Maybe I'll just rent the 12 passenger van and sleep there :D

I have no idea. When I go camping, it's usually not at camp sites, but rather just on some trail without a bathroom or showers.

sure i would love to gorge it up but logistically it just seemed like way too much of a nightmare. flying in from NYC, getting from seattle to George, etc. i'm all for a good acoustic 'i believe in miracles' as the sun sets but it just seemed like one fucking ginormous headache. vegas will be way easier.

Ahh but there is a simple solution to that.. do whatever you want. It will be nice to hang out with everyone and do things together but if that's too stressful then fuck it. Do whatever you want and just play it by ear.
I booked my flight and now have to change it... ohh well. As for everything else, I'll just see what happens.

And Vegas will be great and a great summer vacation for me :D

I've had a pretty easy going attitude for a long time now... guess at this point in my life after the shit I've experienced its nice to just not get worked up about the details. Make plans, see what happens, and make the best of it.
My bathroom remodel just finished last week, I tried to pressurize the radiators to test everything again yesterday and the new baseboard in the bathroom leaked thru the ceiling into my living room. Nothing major but still a pain in the ass... am I upset? no. I look at it like as long as the problem is fixed and everything taken care of there isn't anything to worry about. But alot of people would flip out and get all worried.. not me. Now if there is still no solution after a few weeks, well then that's a different story.

It could be worse. You could come home to to find blood all over your carpet and bathroom after the guy you paid to remodel your bathroom had a band saw accident and cut off three of his fingers. ;)

    Ahh speaking from experience huh??
Worse thing I came home to was plumbers digging a trench in my front yard because they kept running into tree roots when trying to run a new line for my water service. Now I basically have to resod the whole thing...

And that liberal education worked wonders ;)

It could be worse. You could come home to to find blood all over your carpet and bathroom after the guy you paid to remodel your bathroom had a band saw accident and cut off three of his fingers. ;)

Or come home and see that your upstairs neighbors shower stall is leaking through your ceiling AGAIN and leaving a big wet spot in the drywall and knowing you get to spend your weekend not relaxing, but studying for a Biology exam AND redoing the drywall in the bathroom ceiling.

    UGHHHHH
    Underneath this smile lies everything
all my hopes, anger, pride and shame...

Ahhh Vegas......I cant wait for Vegas! Thats gonna be an awesome trip!!! I just wish we already knew if and when there would be a 2nd Gorge show. I'll be going, heck if I dont I think BA would kill me since he's using my other 10C ticket.

Plus, I dont know why Im getting so worried about it, its not like its next week. Its not that Im really worried about going and all that stuff, I just want concrete details so I can plan accordingly!!

Only 25 days til Albany!!! :D
