Did you get the blue vinyl? Tried for it, but my store only had 1 copy. Grabbed the black though, can't wait to hear it. Love that Seek Up gets a whole side of vinyl to itself.

Yes, I lucked out and scored the blue vinyl #445. My local record store only had the one copy and I was 14th in line before it opened. I knew the box sets would be off to the side, and not in the bins that everyone was digging in, so I rushed in and went straight for the box sets off to the side and scored. :D The blue vinyl is beautiful and sounds even better than it looks.
That version of Seek Up is killer, the whole album has a great flow to it, the version of Linus & Lucy is pretty damn cool as well. Did you go for the Live Trax slipmat the Warehouse was offering?

Set lists are becoming creative and epic..

A nod to the hard core fanbase!

    I like it!

And despite not releasing every show, the DMB rich vault releases (livetrax, DMBLIVE SERIES etc)
Is the envy of this PEARL JAM boot collector.

    If only!

Is there a dmb site that has the live catalog ready for download like pearljam bootlegs dot com?
I'm looking for Dave's solo set at bonnarro from a few years ago.

2004 was my first roo experience. i've been to 6 roos since (#8 is this year!) and this dave and friends show is still one of my favorite performances.

I know the feeling! KILLED me to miss PNC with it only an hour and 20 away (and of course then they played my holy grail song, Drive In Drive Out). Went through my entire contact list and couldn't find someone to go with. Then tried to convince my good friend to make the 3 hr drive to Mansfield this weekend but lost. Oh well. Can't wait for Jones Beach...just about 2 weeks! Can't believe these setlists so far!! Hartford are lucky mofos to get Dreaming Tree AND Spoon!! Not to mention the Petty cover!

That was my first Drive In Drive Out in 22 shows, couldn't believe they were playing it.

Overall I liked the song selection for PNC but the show didn't have any flow, imo.

Save Me full band was great. Hadn't heard Idea of You since 2007 and it was awesome. Recently & Captain were great to hear. So Right is a fun song and nice placement in the encore. DRIVE IN DRIVE OUT!!!!!

I wasn't a fan of Billies as the opener. There needs to be more energy in the crowd for Billies. The opener needs to build like Seek Up or Don't Drink The Water.

Hartford setlists looked killer and I was definitely disappointed that I couldn't make those shows after seeing those setlists.

They better bring it at Jones!

Its funny how our perception of a set list can be without being there. I didn't like the look of Hartford N2 set list but like you said, there may have been a better flow than a show with a better set list.
    Alright, alright, alright!

A friend who was at Hartford said N1 was far superior and N2 left something to be desired after how good N1 was. But I'll take a Seek Up opener any day of the week and throw in Best of What's Around and it can't be all that bad.

Same here! Fantastic set, everyone sounded great and were in good spirits- can't ask for much more! Wish the crowd was a bit more attentive (Elvis tag on The Stone and Thank You tag on So Damn Lucky were sadly absent), but I was having a blast so minor complaints!

And, to top it off, FINALLY HEARD DRIVE IN DRIVE OUT! I need a new holy grail now :D:D:D

I like that they are mixing up the encores. It's not just a solo then Ants or Watchtower

Agreed! Ants I'm still not tired of, but very much over Watchtower at this point. But yesterday after hearing Drive In Drive Out I turned to my friend and said, "They could play Watchtower now and I wouldn't even be mad"

A fun night at Jones Beach yet again! Surprised night 1 was better than night 2 setlist wise for me, that normally doesn't happen! But the crowd and sound last night was much better, I thought. A bit disappointed the run didn't see JTR or Captain. But Don't Fear the Reaper, Jane, Bayou and You Might Die Trying were highlights last night. Got to shake Carter's hand briefly before the show and at the end of the show went to Boyd's "gathering" and got to meet/take a picture with him! He really is the nicest man--I don't know anyone else who would stay that long to give every fan the time of day and then some. Just another reason to love this band!
