  • Why I love this tour announcement. I can submit for tickets anytime between 2/16 and 2/22. I do not have to log into a website and click refresh repeatedly and then when tickets are available the website doesn't crash. I will still attempt to buy tickets for the Pearl Jam and swear and cuss when the site "has it's face ripped off." This GD site

I think this is how the EV tickets were done, no? I agree, I've never been shut out of a dmb show.

Agreed, DMB has a great, great system. My best friend's mom is the one who tries for tickets for us all the time. She's been a Warehouse member since '98 or '00, seen 50+ shows, and has been shut out only twice.

You won't regret it! Like PJ, DMB are a whole different beast live. Really exciting shows and great musicianship, IMO. Seeing them live is what turned me into a huge fan. I was a casual fan til my first DMB show in '09. Since then I've seen them 8 more times and they are my #2 favorite band after Pearl Jam!

Agreed. The last time they played Alpine I took a girlfriend of mine with who had never even really heard of them (she's young!) and she had a BLAST. Of course the fact that it's at Alpine makes it even better. And seriously, Carter Beauford has got to be one of the best drummers in the world. Just the talent of all those guys is incredible!

It looks like they are coming to Tampa though, so, I can go this time. :)

Truth!!! Even if you absolutely hate DMB, you cannot deny his talent. He's a monster on the drumkit! Definitely my favorite modern day drummer.

Maybe they'll add an entire second leg later in the year then? Who knows! But I doubt they'll entirely skip over an area after putting out a new album and taking a whole year off.

When did Big Whiskey come out? 2010? not bad if its going to be a 2012 release.

DMB, Soundgarden, and PJ this year would be great.

Yes, we stayed there for P20. Basic motel, but the rooms were clean, the breakfast was okay and it only takes about 10 minutes to get to the venue.
