...we are bombarded with messages from the bible thumpers on a daily bases...so once in a while if I get to tell 1 of them that I think their fairy tale book is BS it is not a bad thing...after all they came to my door uninvited.

Actually most of them spread hate...my mother in law is big time bible thumper who's church she belongs to is vehemently opposed to same sex marriage. I asked her who they were "hurting", I told her it was their "business", her response "the bible says its wrong", my response was "think for yourself". Sorry that ain't love that's hate...and most religions believe that starting with one of the largest...the Catholic Church.

Being "kind" and "gentle" to Mormons banging on your door makes them feel like they're welcome... like they can come back. And they're not. And they can't. I want Mormons to be afraid to leave their own houses.

Theres a way of dealing with these type of folks and it certainly isnt to make them a cup of tea.

Im sorry, Im not a rude kind of person, but these unwelcome visitors spouting nonsense get right on my nerves too.

Still - no need to be rude to them. Just ask them to leave.

I do wonder why religion is way bigger now in the states than it is here in the UK. Its fast disappearing over here considering footfalls into churches from the 1970's to now.....yet over there you have churches packed with folk banging on about an illusionist from 2000 years ago.....crazy.
