2 key people will determine the outcome.
    1. Patrick Mahomes.
    2. Kyle "blow a basically insurmountable lead in the Superb Owl" Shanahan.

    Chiefs 27 Niners 23

    This weekend we rock Portland

Also, if it's close and comes down to a kick, expect the Michigan kid to become the 2nd player after Donovan Chunky Soup McNabb to literally puke on the field, and kick the ball towards Reno and cost his team the game.

Brett, I will warn you.  Every time my son has donned a Chiefs onesie, they have won.  I hope the streak continues.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.
  • I think there isn't enough being made about the McCaffrey vs. Chiefs D matchup.  The games where KC struggled this year (at Denver, at Oakland) were against teams who committed to the run.  I'm not saying the other team lit up the scoreboard against them, but SF has the explosiveness to score more behind CMC's running game.  I think if Shanahan leans on CMC in this game, they'll win this game.
Maybe that is what Vegas was thinking when setting the line?
If there is one thing I believe will happen, it is that CMC will get his carries.  Shanahan is committed to running.  Sometimes he starts early passing but he always wants to run.

Hahaha.  Awesome -- I'm sure you are photo documenting to make sure that when he is 23 that he still wears one for big Chiefs games.

I like how both of us keep thinking the team we want to win will lose.  I actually believe this...but on GameDay I need to ditch the negative and just root for the team and have fun with it.

Monday will still be a good day regardless of who wins the sports game.  I've had more than my share of Superb Owl celebrations.

Win or lose this season was a big success for KC.  They were on their ass back on Christmas and finally made some drastic changes on offense to stop trying to be the "2018 Chiefs." They needed a lot to go right against Baltimore to win that game, but you have to credit them that it did.  Dynastic teams make it to the championship game/round in years they have no business being there.

Think it could be 49ers 31, Chiefs 24, but honestly I have no idea. I thought the 49ers were going to win both of their playoff games fairly easily and they just about lost both of them.

Don't really know who's gonna win today. I think KC might pull out a victory like 27-23. But if SF wins I'd be fine with that as well.

    It’s Shanahans to lose 😬

I think there is a buttload of pressure on him, I think they should’ve been dead twice already… I feel KC has maximized their not so great wr core (Rice has high ceiling though) and something a true champion does… (3) impressive road wins when they never had to even play any with this group prior, legendary stuff

my gut gives SF slight edge… so I’ll say SF 24-23

For my knowledge, who is doubting Brock Purdy?  I really don’t listen to a lot outside of KC sports radio, but I keep seeing this narrative in the pregame on NFL network.  He’s for real.  If he wasn’t he would not have led the comebacks against the Packers and Lions.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.
  • Half of the talking heads shit on him because of his draft status.  If he'd been drafted in 3rd round nobody would shit talk him the way that they do.
Whatever.  He's better than Jimmy G or Trey Lance, that is all I know as far as comparison.
Also, he can win in the playoffs with a good team, unlike Lamar.

Even if SF doesn’t win, that doesn’t take away from how good Purdy is.  Only dudes make comebacks in the playoffs, and Brock Purdy is a dude.

I can't wait for Usher, that is what I'm most excited about.

    Not.

When I went to the Niners/Ravens Super Bowl I was under the stands drinking beer at halftime while Beyonce was doing her thing.
Halftime shows = for the non football fans, mostly.  It is good to have a break to eat, use the head, get some drinks, whatever.
It was fun at that game but I'd rather be at home watching than be in Vegas, today.  Or, pretty much any day.
