At least the Jets came thru to knock the Eagles down a bit and lessen the sting of losing of losing to the fucking Browns.

For the record, I got nothing against the Browns. I live equidistant from both Pittsburgh and Baltimore so there’s at least 4 games every year where I’m a HUGE Browns fan.

But if the Niner’s ever go winless for an entire season I’m not gonna celebrate it like a mindless fuckwit and pretend it’s some kind of accomplishment.
  • No, I didn't root against the team, but I did not defend those players and wanted the team to do the right thing.

We can agree that all of us make mistakes.  No reason for me to want Aldon Smith or Deshaun Watson on teams I root for, though.

And also no reason for you to be a dick and make the statements you did when a person disagrees with your perspective.

Which statements?  Calling the franchise and their supporters names?  Bah.  I can't stand the franchise and the fans who defended Watson made me think even less of them.
If that makes me a dick, as you say, so be it.

Equal distance between those two cities sounds suspiciously like Alabama,  PA. Are you in the sticks or like Hagerstown?

And I don't understand the winless comment.

These Thursday Prime games are so out of sight/out of mind to me. Did not watch one second. Forgot there was even a game on.

I have baseball on TV, possibly switch to Flyers during commercial breaks. No way am I going to the trouble to stream something and be forced to watch every single commercial. Totally stupid and penny wise pound foolish for the NFL to do this.

Yeah it sucks.  I'm sure the players and teams hate them too.  Also dilutes the value of the Sunday ticket.

I watched the Chargers game and I am not sold on Herbert... Is he Rivers 2.0?

Possibly.  Then again Rivers at least won a playoff game (2 actually) in his first four seasons.  It's not looking promising that Herbert will even make the playoffs this year.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

That was whacked.   The whole game was wild but those two penalty calls at the end were highly suspect, especially the uncatchable  ball called for PI
