    You mean because presumably the winner will only have six days to recover? We've had MNF since about 1971.  This argument is a stretch.  Of course the NFL is greedy.  It's a business.

    Well, the short rest situation is already a thing with Saturday playoff games, so that pert of the argument doesn't really hold water.

    The sleep thing, different story. They should kick the game off at 6 eastern.

    Yeah it was great. I was pulling for the Steelers’ scenario and the Dolphins are my favorite team so it was a fun underdog parlay. Sweated it out with Miami, but they held on for a good win.

    Wouldn't be the case with a single Monday night game for the team that wins.

    Since they are doing it for the money there is no way they will start prior to 5pm Pacific.

    Not necessarily.  A team will possibly play this Saturday and win and play again the following Saturday against a team who plays this Sunday.
