I like Russ but agree that letting a player pick the players is foolish.  Factoring in who might play well together is smart, but that is for the GM to determine based on any feedback they can garner from players, coaches, etc....
Especially after hearing all the input Carson had on the Eagles the last few years...

I'm suuuuuure that will appease Watson and convince him the team is not in a rebuild and he'll rescind his trade demand.

if Brady can go elsewhere, so can everyone else

Yeah but at least Brady was a free agent. Watson just signed a gazillion dollar contract and wants out one year later. Russell Wilson is passive-aggressively suggesting he'd be open to leaving Seattle, and Watt is basically a case of the franchise saying "We suck, so go try to win somewhere else." And I wouldn't be surprised if Brady is on the phone with him right now trying to recruit him to Tampa.

I think teams also realize tough to win with $40m qb cap hit

get a qb on a rookie deal, Wilson allowed Seattle to have a big window prior to his big deal

Why would Seattle throw in a first round pick?

    Seriously.
I would think Dallas would have to throw in a first rounder at least to make that swap equitable.

Agree.said it earlier..Wilson is one of the best in the NFL..but Im still not trading Dak straight up for him..same age..yes,,but Wilson is in self preservation mode..Dak is hungry

zach sit a year, trey prob sit 2 years

    Justin Fields seems pretty ready

    Trevor will be great

Mac Jones pro ready too, I think NE will take him if there

And Jared Goff is much younger than Matthew Stafford, yet the Rams had throw in two first rounders to get Stafford.
Age isn't that much of a factor.
Wilson is a much more valuable commodity than Prescott. If that trade were to happen (it won't), Dallas would be shipping extra capital to Seattle (at least this year's first rounder) to make it happen.
Take off the blue star shaped glasses and look at the players objectively.

Maybe a pick,  but I would not think a first rounder.  That's expensive.

I can't stand the Seahawks or Wilson, but you are right, he is a good QB that still has some good football left. He would be an upgrade over a lot of starting QBs in the league.

LA had to throw in the 1st rounders because of Goff's contract.

Considering there's a half decent line... Staff, Saquon, Julio, Claypool, Gronk.

Maybe even take Henry and Ertz.

    Mahomes - $5
    Johnson - $2
    Davis  - $1
    Metcalf - $4
    Waller - $3
I'll be a complete homer and build my roster off of Mahomes.
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.

And since there's only 5 offensive linemen that leaves me $1 to take Beasley for the slot.  ;)
