    He'll play again
  • Really, after watching this again, that has to be the most pathetic thing I've ever seen. It was totally premeditated to punch her.

It actually looks like he leaned in and spit on her before they got on the elevator and again after they got in. You can't see the spit but it looks like he makes the motion right before she swiped at him outside the elevator. I could be wrong but that just adds to his douchiness.

So does dude ever play again? He is a so so running back who is clearly a dirtball and will be a PR nightmare. At the same time, a lot of teams will need a running back down the stretch and Vick came back and played (although he did serve time), and there are clearly tons of dirtballs in the NFL.

I think we've seen the last of him.

I agree. I don't remember videos of Michael Vick actually killing the dogs himself. People have a stronger reaction when they can see a video. It can't be unseen. I'm not giving Vick a pass as I believe he is a douche as well, but I can't see a team taking Rice on. His talent is also on the decline already.

Yeah I agree too. He's a total pariah now. Knocking a woman out cold on video for the world to see is different than letting your stupid, freeloading friends run a dog-fighting ring. Not saying Vick wasn't in the wrong because he was. But this is so much more serious.

  • Holy shit fuck John Harbaugh. A reporter just asked him why did the Ravens opinion change so drastically today with the release of the video. "What is it you think happened in that elevator?" asked the reporter. Harbaugh totally blew him off. Here's the real answer:

"Well we knew he knocked her out. But we didn't care if people were upset about that because we need a tailback. But now that everybody has gone from "upset" to "totally pissed" after seeing the video, we decided to cut him."

  • Ray Lewis should keep his fucking mouth shut.

    Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
  • Nobody was ever convicted of murder in that little Ray Lewis incident, right?

I actually agree with Ray Lewis. He said there's no comparison between him and Ray Rice....and he's right. He's far more comparable to Aaron Hernandez.

    Michael Vick killed puppies
Ray Lewis and his buddies were involved in MURDER.

And people think Rice wont play in the NFL AGAIN?

No I don't think he'll play again and it has nothing to do with morals or degree of the crime. He's not as good a player as Ray Lewis or Michael Vick. Lewis is an all-time great player and Vick is....umm.....well......he was REALLY good on Madden that one year. You think Roethlisberger would still be a Steeler if was had Jay Cutler's career? Two sexual assault allegations? He'd have been shipped to Oakland in a heartbeat. The bottom-line is all that matters to these owners.

I will not defend Ray rice and what he did. In no way shape or form is it acceptable behavior. He is coward, a bully, a criminal. He should be in a jail cell. But he's not. Why not? He's got money, a good lawyer, probably donates hundreds of thousands into charities and in his community. He's a first time offender. I know what the PTI program is. I know several good people that have gone through it. I don't know how often or if ever it has been used for a first time offender of high aggravated assault.

I agree with Keith Olbermann, everybody involved with this case dropped the ball. This guys career is.most likely over. I don't feel sorry for him at all. I can only hope he saved some of the millions hes already made. But there are guys in the NFL right now who are responsible for the deaths of others. Why are we holding Ray Rice to a higher standard than that guy from the cowboys who's dui car accident killed his teammate? Or Ray Lewis? Hell, he will be in the hall of fame in a few years.

I don't know how to feel about this whole situation. Rice is a piece of shit. I guess I'm not surprised that rice lied to keep his ass in the league. Could you say you wouldn't? And why the fuck did Goodell not have access to that video in the first place?

Harbaugh is such a jerkoff. And the Ravens are a complete jerkoff organization. I still can't get over how badly this situation was handled by everyone involved.

I love how the Ravens send out the coach to talk. He is a fucking nobody in all of this. Where are all the decision makers from the NJ courts, Ravens and the NFL? They're are all cowards. Pro sports keeps estranging itself from me more and more everyday and I fucking love sports.
    Alright, alright, alright!

I think he plays again, just not this year. Vick was welcomed back, Rothlisberger is revered, Rice will be back.

Will Goodell survive this...that I don't know. My bet is probably yes but he has now blown too many signature decisions to be taken seriously. Plus, how many owners are hearing about this from there wives? He may be in trouble.

i really don't understand why there isn't a hell of a lot more scrutiny on the prosecution in this case as opposed to the NFL. getting probation and an ard program for this is more disgusting than only a 2 game ban in the NFL and those fuckers for sure had all the tapes.

and no chance he ever plays in the NFL again. those comparing to Vick are wrong. Vick served jail time and paid his debt to society. she will divorce him in a few months when it settles down, take 1/2 of what he has got now and he will be dead broke within 3 years.

With the amount of money the NFL owners are making, not a chance that Goodell gets booted.
