    (Ok, it wasnt completely non-alcoholic. There was rum.)

    We did lose power, Jonny. (Or I should say, I did. C. was away visiting daughter-in-law.) Now I've got candle wax imbedded in the table cloth and on the floor. Duh... use candle holders, dummy! At least I didn't burn the house down. :))

    Every drop of rain helps but we're still in drought over-all.

    Wish I could hang out here longer myself but busy days ahead.

    Thanks, same to you. Use pj as my trip planner so will likely take vacation time and go to them. Love to see them at gorge so fingers crossed.

    I'm about to watch a documentary on PBS about WWII survivors visiting present-day Sobibor, a concentration camp where some 300 inmates escaped in 1943.

    On this Memorial Day weekend, a wave to all my friends and remembering the brave and the lost.
