Have rummaged all our stuff here at home over the last week and got 5 (!) big packing cases full with clothes and stuff for the new refugees who will come to our area. We have an old abandoned military base 1 mile away. They brought the first 200 of 3000 refugees yesterday to this called first reception camp (for 1500 soldiers). I might should notice that we live in a very very small village with only nearly 500 peps! We will see how this will turn out the next months.
Anyways...I never thought it would be so much stuff to give away... I'm happy to get the chance to do something good! It will be getting cold here the next time. ... Now I have the weekend to countermand this chaos I left... aaah I swear I really turned all my wardrobes and cupboards upside down! So when my son and his girlfriend finally left the house this evening I will put on some PJ, turn up the volume, get me some red vine and hopefully make this to my home back again! lol
So Cheers! ...especially to all who have to work this Friday night! Hope everyone will have a great weekend!
Of the 100s of concerts I've been to... Plant in Vancouver back in 88(?) might have been the best one I attended.
If we ever find ourselves having a drink sometime... I'd tell you about it. It was the perfect combination of great music and concert experience.
What I would say is the crowd had demolished the floor, flooded the floor and we're going crazy on the floor. Seats were crushed and the place was a massive general admission.
At the height of the tension, Plant came out for the encore and the first notes of Big Log were struck. I've never seen such an impact- the entire place chilled in unison and everyone mellowed out in sync.
I'll tell you what - few things nicer than taking an hour-or-so long nap on a day with an "extra" hour, waking up to love and some of the best music ever written, not to mention sung. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jI_SqAnTNoY
Got a little extra bounce this AM.that hour indeed payed off.Happy Monday
Yeah, some folks complain incessantly about it and whine eternally about the dark...there's just a lot of pansies in the world who refuse to see the sunny side lol
I had the exquisite pleasure of voting Yes on issue 3 today, the marijuana legalizing initiative. It is a pretty poor deal that creates a monopoly for commercial growers, but oh well. In a state like Ohio, progress doesn't come in leaps and bounds, it comes in small steps, if it comes at all.
Was great to hear on PJ radio Mike and I loved jamming to the following. Will need to crank it up Friday night to detox the brain of corporate, marketing BS that's infested my brain. And dedicate to my old Scorpions running mate, Michael Oekten were ever you are.

Bless these sweet musical surprises.

one of the greatest albums
"Hear me, my chiefs!
I am tired; my heart is
sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight
no more forever."

Nothing like good-music lovers - with good tales to tell, to boot.
