Since I am not responding in the thread that is closed,I will respond here.

Hugh- yes you can tell me to fuck off in your own head. But wait until you have 3 feet of snow on the ground this winter.I think you will find it resonates some much more that way.

Cal -I'm buying drinks at the West Palm Show TBD

Hedo,Thank you.Maybe I will take a pic a of the view and post it up.It one of the real special things about living in Jupiter.

Side note, the place I'm going tonight is right next door to a tiki bar called the Square Grouper. It is famous for where Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffet who both live locally shot the video and performed the song" 5 o clock somewhere".Its cool, all locals in the video I know quit a few of them and some great shots off shore while he is on his boat" Hullbilly". I'm glad I can share a little of my home with my lounge buddies.

The big concert was also filmed locally at Cruzan Amphitheatre.

Believe it or not that bar goes off like in the video. If every visiting South Florida it's worth a visit.Kid Rock and some other local musicians have been known to also grab the mic at random times. So that's cool as shit.

    It 5 O'Clock somewhere.enjoy.

Went to a summer concert series here in the Northeast lands of the Springs. Great band, good fun, drunk little old ladies, in $1600 outfits.. Houses that START at 2 mil, and a stellar view! There was even a skull cloud, it was so rockin! Hope to catch more free events this year! Ahh I needed that night out!

I'll admit I like only a handful of JT's tunes, but that is among my all-time favorite songs by anyone.

Glad everyone is enjoying the weekend kick off.
WH limotaxi reminds me of saying Jumbo Shrimp or military intelligence? lolLooks like you are having a good time.
Gambs please put on something a little heavier for SG.Cmon man!!
Hedo- what famous people do you plan on "randomly" running into on your long weekend?

Btw-Stone Crab claws went out of season last week.Had to settle for a Cajun shrimp boil, bowl of conch chowder and some very unhealthy but fucking delicious conch fritters and beer.

Hahhaa my buddy said he should be listening to Sabbath... I told him James Taylor has more talent than Ozzy, Bill, And Geezer out together!
    Babies don't like metal.

Also, if civilization ended tomorrow, the power goes out and never comes back... Heavy music would cease to exist and JT would still sound as amazing as ever, and we would finally be free of the dross that polluted the ears of the 80s and beyond!

    A. You couldn't be more wrong Babies love grunge and metal that's why they cry and scream and shit themselves and puke on everything.Whats more rock and roll then that.Trust me.SG does not want to throw on JT and talk about his feelings or macrame designs sheesh

    B.I noticed you didn't include Iommi.smart choice.

C.what do you know about the music in the 80s youngster?2words Van Fucking Halen!!!!!!!!!

rr, no famous run-ins. In fact, turns out my Neil sighting a few weeks ago was a damned doppleganger - but a good one!

(and as to "had to settle for"? Hrrmph to that! Sounds amazing)

This morning at home is SO nice. Indulging on various fronts, plus two kitties keeping me good furry company.

gambo, anytime you want to post a photo of SG....not like we'd refuse or anything

    A. Simon loves all home crafts and aspires to do group counseling based on sharing feelings and macrame/crochet designs.

    B. Iommi was a master. No debate would be valid.

    C. Van Halen 70's = Eruption, Running with the Devil etc. = BADASS
Van Halen 80's = Jump, Why Can't This Be Love, etc. = Spandex AND synthesizer??

Dr.Ryan thinks you need to give SG a good dose of VH.He will thank you.

My summation was deliberately selective, they definitely rocked the early 80's with vigor and badassery.
It isn't fair though to blame the songs like Why Can't This Be Love on Hagar alone, Eddie picked up the synth before Roth left...what a sad day it was lol

I also have always hated Panama...it sounds like a Def Leopard song to me.
    Ick.

Or the poor baby was startled into submission. Still, a good song choice to lull.

(cannot STAND Panama, by the way)

    But...since we're here?

This morning, I saw a video for the first time of my dad when he was a mere 41 years old - and already losing his hair =)

May you have that warmth of heart with your father, kce; hope you were able to hug him in some way.

Oh, and since I've been on a Heart kick the last couple or so days (got tears just a bit ago from Dog & Butterfly, same show - reminded me of my sister and I).

    These women...oh, these women!

    Beauty singing beauty.

Along with Hendrix,The Wilson sisters in my mind ,are they original Seattle music Pioneers. They set a great foundation for what was still to come. And soooo influentially groundbreaking for a women's place in Rock and Roll. They kicked(kick) some serious ass and are extremely talented.

That said Hedo,I'm going to see them in less then a month up in DC at the Foo Fighters 20th BDay bash with of course the Foos but also Joan Jett,Buddy Guy,LL cool J,Trombone Shorty.Im very excited to see them again.

Seeing Heart in a stadium will bring back memories of going to see them back as a kid. They always filled big venues.
