Good stuff, Jason - I don't know too much of their music but like what I've heard over the years.

An aside - one of the guys at our office parked his car in the lot, and left his glass bowl on the passenger seat. Nice enough dude, just had a son, smart, yada yada...but a bit spacey. When our mutual office buddy told him "you might not want to have that out in the open", he said "but I have a card for it".

Really? Shit like that gives the rest of us potheads a bad name! Not to mention opening yourself up to a DUI.

Hagar and company were absolutely bad ass tonight. What a fun show. The Led Zeppelin stuff (6 songs) was so fucking tight.Jason Bonham has his fathers tone and timing on the drum kit.during the drum intro to"When the levee breaks" He stood up stopped playin while they pumped in his dad playing the intro. He did this out of respect Im told,he's says he will never play that part, but then he sits and joins in as the song starts while they also kept his dad's part playin.Mind blowin.

And Hagar does a fine tribute to Plant.Michael Anthony and his mullet still kill on bass, dude looks almost the same as when I saw VH in the 80s.
The guitarist Vic Johnson was a true master, killed the Van Halen stuff and blasted the Zeppelin solos.Crowd of mostly people who were teens in the 70,80s.a few younger scattered in.But happily buzzed, rowdy and loud in the sing alongside.I highly recommend going if they come to your area.

Life is so fucking awesome- sometimes so joyous, sometimes so sorrowful, sometimes just getting by. Babies come into the family or the extended family and the old die out, yet, as physics tell us, energy is neither created nor destroyed. The transformations within that beautifully continuous circle are perplexing and marvelous. Sometimes within in it we weep in deep sorrow and other times we laugh with unrestrained joy.

    Peace, all.

They have them alphabetically listed on drop down tabs
Type :and no spaces, then a letter, the drop down tab will appear, click on your emoticon choice and hit enter, or space and viola! I just keep typing in a different set of letters after the colon to find the ones I want.

Your boss must be a Kentucky Derby fan ;) Seriously, here in Louisville us teachers (and students!) get the whole day off and my hubs got to leave work at 12:30. Gotta love Derby time! Hope you enjoyed your afternoon :)

It's this kind of evening here - me with my three loves.

(it also appears Mario Battali is a fan)

Really though, so lovely in words and music - kind of like the band that brought us here.

And Edge - wow! Gorgeous voice.

Gonna hit up some U2 later this morning myself. I'm not really a fan of their later music, but Joshua Tree and Rattle & Hum? Love them!

And apparently we had a quake here early this morning! Can't believe I slept through it - a 3.9 but an epicenter relatively near.

Same with me, hedo - I still love Joshua Tree and it brings back great memories of the time of my life when it was released, but I don't think I've listened to any U2 newer than the early 90s.

often, did you have it on cassette too?

And yes, it returns me to that era of my 20s, where I was during such a lovely, freeing and tender time. I remember in 1991, after buying my first (and still-only!) home/condo, blasting it like nobody's business - wait, stop to turn over the tape and hit play again - to the point that I got a call from our security folks to turn it down.

    Buzzkills =)

^^^ No, we got it on CD - that little disk has had a lot of plays. We were living in Scotland at the time so it makes me remember some of my friends there, as well as a road trip back home where it was our sound track, for some reason.
