You and I and so many others...I'm seriously happy for us!

Oh wait ... This will be your first time? Wow you will have an experience you will never forget! Pace yourself, and enjoy it. I'm almost envious of you, I wish I could have my first PJ concert again...

yup, I am a PJ virgin :) saw eddie at bridge school this year (which freaking blew my mind and I missed the highway exit to go back to my hotel TWICE) but I'm sure this will be even better. I cannot wait. I'll be lining up the day before or something. :D[/quote]

See you at the show then, wow I really can't wait, and it's 7 months. Please enjoy Pearl Jam live carefully and responsibly, by rocking out and doing whatever you like!!! Salud and happy ticket hunting!

I wonder if you guys could tell me what to expect from the crowds in the nordic countries. It's gonna be my first time up north so I don't know what to expect .

I worked for Tetra Pak a long time ago and had the opportunity to meet some very nice people from Sweden, we used to talk a lot about rock concerts in our countries how different or similar they were and in which ways and I got this amazing impression that the crowds in scandinavia are really nice and active..also...I have been watching a lot of concerts on youtube (mainly to know what the venues are like from inside) and it just confirmed my first impressions.... but would really love to have some more info on ..like...if there is too much pushing and pulling, if people drink too much, stuff like that. I've attended 5 concerts here in Brazil and the crowd was wild but at the same time very peaceful and respectful even in the 70 K+ concert in Sao Paulo and this is exactly what I think it's going to be like in those countries...

I hope this is coming out right...just want to gather a lil more info on the crowd behavior...

Hopefull I will get to convince my husband to go before Tuesday :)

copenhagen i have a feeling is gonna be not only the longest show but best show on the tour, i think they pick that city to end in for a reason. and not cause of the georgraphy, it would of been easier to do denmark sweden and norway first then rest of europe

A Stockholm gig finally!! It's something very special getting a show 20 mins from your apartement. I've travelled all over the world to see this band and now a hometown show :D

I will probably try to hit Manchester, Amsterdam, Berlin, Oslo and Copenhagen as well.

I have tickets to Springsteen and Metallica next year also. In the words of Tori Amos - Pretty good year.

I hate to be a sourpuss. Wonderful news that PJ guests Copenhagen, denmark. But why the hell do they play at the Forum? For those who don't know the place; Its a crappy place most commonly used for sport venues with bad acustics and every chance for bad sound. Its soooo not god. And in july?? Pearl Jam must be seen outdoor. And the ticket price is through the roof...120 dollars. I guess Pearl Jam has a difficulty gettting fair prices for the danes. I usually go to Berlin where concert tickets are about 60 dollar and USUALLY the most amazing spot. Wuhlheide but this year the concert is held at the O2 arena... fuck this tour. Aint gonna see them at an indoor show.

Damn it! Can't do either UK shows as I'll be working  .

Fingers crossed for some other (weekend preferably) UK located shows.

Best of luck with your ticket purchases!

After checking the tmietables for next year the slim chance of possibly going to Manchester is out of the window :( :( :(

Having said that I'm wondering if we'll hear more new material on this Europe tour!? :)

I renew two days after I lapse. The deadline occurs WITHIN that time.
    So I'm out.
10C have the power the understand that but seems they're being willingly stubborn and are saying rules are rules. (If only they mentioned this in their *reminder* email) Which is fair enough I guess, but jeez, a bit of understanding would go a long way.
Massively disappointed. Feel nauseous. Just the bad luck, bad timing. Two days. And a deadline in the middle of it. Maybe this will act as a heads up for everyone to NEVER let your membership lapse, even for a day or two. Oh - and maybe a heads up too that even when 10c can help ... they won't.

So if anyone's looking to offload a spare for MANCHESTER to a genuine fan (not that 10c see you as one if you're not lining their pockets at the very chink in time that they presale) then I'd be very grateful. Thanks :)

I can understand you're disappointed, but I have to say, I don't think the 10C is out of order on this.

The email was to urge people to make sure that their memberships were active. A lapsed membership is not an active membership, and if a lapsed member had all the same privileges as an active member, it would make the whole notion of active membership, and of a grace period completely meaningless and redundant. Membership is for 12 months, not 15, and the 10C info on the grace period is pretty specific in referring only to maintaining your seniority. It's a grace period to renew - it's not 3 bonus months of free membership! As to whether they failed to inform you properly, the rules are all on the website for anyone to see. http://www.pearljam.com/ten-club/tickets

I'm sorry you missed out, and I can really understand your disappointment. But I don't think the 10C is being at all unfair on this, sorry. I'm sure you can pick up spares if you try - I've done that myself a couple of times when I missed out, so all is not lost.

Does anyone know whether the ticket prices via Pre Sale Manchester are the same for seats & standing?

Never usually buy seat tickets, but thinking I might give the seats a try for a different view on things (and to give the body a rest ahead of the Springsteen and RHCP gigs at the Stadium of Light that I will be at during the following 4 days!).

I must say I'm disappointed by the venues chosen for this tour, arenas in the summer! Especially when they've played the wulheide previously and had such great experiences there.

The general sale is a few days after 10C. The 10C gets their ticket allocation in advance.

Hi Everybody, long time reader here :)

I'm wondering if there is any chance that more dates will be added soon, e.g The gap between Manchester and IOW festival seems to fit perfectly for extra gig in London.
I'm more thinking (hoping) that it's to give them time to hang out with Tom & Bruce...

I'd love to see Ed guest on The Waiting and Darkness on the Edge of Town
