no gousebumps here, but the smile! you should see my smile all over those days :)

and yes, it came back big times while reading your sum up, obi.
great words and descriptions you found and you let the concert roll in my head another time - thanks.

+ ps: also at my side people just were so nice and happy. Like you, i got somehwat touched by strangers, hugging and "kitzeln" (dunno the english word for it, sorry) just in the happiness of the moment, knowing that the other is enjoying the music as much as oneself.
    so nice.

and thanks again for great sum up.
    a pleasure to read :)

next time as in next tour or something... :p
    it's over for me now

  • I posted my excitement about the download at the touch base,
but now, after I listened to that night again, I also need to put around a comment again.

isn't the sound just great? I mean you do not hear the audience that intense and load anymore compared to being there live, but now you really get Booms fanatastic playing and all those increadible instrumental compositions of its finest (without any mis- playing!!!) of all the guys.

... what to say, what to say
high quality in the sound and just an amazing and so full of energy concert.
I do now understand that many people really went crazy... wow.

Hey good to hear from you!

I think Fraser flashed at Antwerp - all the gigs run into one. I think he fell off my shoulders and really hurt his knee. I'll check where it was....wait for the blog....:-)

    What can i say?
During the concert my friend turns to me and said: "This is one of the best shows I’ve seen!"
and we have seen lots, I mean lots of bands and shows!

The last and only time I had seen pearl jam was pinkpop 2000, so it had been a while.

When they played release, I could not believe it, what an opener!
Really liked the fact that they play with an enormous intensity. They just play a lot of songs, and the tempo is amazing!

Two days after the concert I went on holiday to Kos, Greece (came back last night.) And I enjoyed sitting on the beach, looking at the ocean with my Boston show nr3 , Penn state College en Benaroya hall cd´s in my cdplayer!
Just thinking: "This week life is really good" ;)

Pearl Jam, the band that surprised me, even with 3 dvd´s and lots of cd´s in my collection.

Pearl Jam Gerledome Arhem 29/8 2006 goes with capital letters in my memory!!
There's a light,... when my baby's in my arms...
And I know she's reached my heart,... in thin air

    Boom!

Just listened to the boot as well and was pleasantly surprised to hear Boom. Didn't hear a note he played that evening, but it's nice to hear he really was plugged in ;)
    Like a cloud dropping rain
    I'm discarding all thought
I'll dry up, leaving puddles on the ground
I'm like an opening band for the sun
