Great show. I probably liked it a little better than MSG 1, though they repeated a few more songs than I expected. Release was great. Black Diamond with Ace was a nice surprise.

Here are a few photos i took. My seats were in 312 - everyone was pretty cool up there and the vibe was great. I took a little walk around the Garden and took a few photos from some other (closer) locations.

Awesome show! And to think I was dreading getting the floor seats in the back. Energy on the floor definitely much better than where I was last night in the 400s. I enjoyed both shows very much, can't pick a favourite but this has definitely been the highlight of my summer. I guess I need to now find another band to fill in until the next PJ tour! I now regret not getting Beacon tix. Money, schmoney.

Oh, and highlights for me were Lukin, Rats, Given to Fly, Do the Evolution, Better Man, Alive (always!) and State of Love and Trust. Was hoping for Light Years and Daughter-It's OK but can't complain about 2 awesome shows! Oh, and Who You Are!! How could I forget that one?

Edited to add: THANK YOU 10C!! Tickets rocked.

I just want to thank the 10 Club for the amazing seats!!! Thank you Pearl Jam for an amazing set list. This was my first PJ concert and it did not disappoint! The crowd was in high spirits. The band rocked. I even got a Eddie Vedder guitar pick, AND the first swig of his very good bottle of red! Now that capped off the night.

Also was one of the lucky to get a poster- and was promptly solicited for it- I had to hold on tight!

Thanks again for a great concert.

First: PJ and NYC rock it out again.

I will concur with those who feel the sustained energy in the crowd last nite was much better. The floor was definitely not moving like last nite. I think it has to be hard to get the kind of energy created last nite again...it was a good effort but apparently all the factors were not aligned again to create not just great energy but energy of a different level.

My seats were much better last nite as well but it was cool to have a different perspective. Crowd was still great but just not like last nite. This is by no means a complaint. Thanks again to PJ, tenclub, and NYC. My Wife and I had a great time!

I'm part to blame. I was simply too shot to go as hard to night as I did last night. Wanted to. but my legs, throat, and feet weren't having it though. Still tried my best and had a great time. However, would have to give the nod to last night (which is no knock on tonight.)

Also, they doubled-up on a lot more songs than I thought they would.

  • Tonight Ed was simply possessed by the crowd and we by him. I particularly enjoyed I Believe in Miracles, Who You Are and Alive. I wished for Black, but, hey, you can't have everything. My heart still feels warm and fluttery.

  • I can not believe the show was so different from last night.....
Did somebody show up in the crowd today ? ......

Night 1 was about 10 times better even though tonight's show had a couple of excellent moments.

Amazing show. I just wish they did less doubling up. Although everything they re-played I thought was better tonight. Just imagine how much better the set would have been if they replaced all the repeats with other stuff. I feel like there were some technical problems the first night and they wanted to show they could really rock those songs.

I thought both shows were incredible though. I wish every concert was as good as these two were. Just wonderful.
  • Tonight had to be the greatest experience of my life

Mike Mccready was amazing on guitar and Eddie was his typical self.

The floor was shaking so much during Better Man and Alive

I can't wait for this to come out on CD and hopefully they will put this out on DVD too it was that damn good

Oh Yeah Old Garden, stellar show
When you say old Garden do you mean; could you possibly mean; is it, is it really OLD GARDEN? Please answer me. I may be dying of some terrible malady and have only minutes to live... so I need an answer.

Thanks, as always to Ten Club, our seats were fifth row, Stone's side (he smiled at me). Loved SOLAT and RVM, love the back-up singers (they look like they are having so much fun!), glad to see C. J again, and sweet guest appearance of Ace ... though it would be better if the band kept the final farewells to themselves. Personally, I always love the Ledbetter ending, so tonight's was fine.

Like someone else said, it seemed that they repeated a lot from last night, and I was surprised, not disappointed, just perplexed. Slightly subdued energy on the floor compared to last night (and compared to other shows) ... it looked so great from up high last night, that I couldn't wait to get down there tonight, but every show is different, and this one was in all ways splendid. There was a very cute little girl in the row behind us, who had a sign that this was her first PJ show ... I hope she and here mom had a great time. There were also two ladies in front of us who were jumping around more than most of the people in the front two rows, so cheers to them.

The OLD...the TRUE old garden came back...awesome!!!!

I am simply shocked at how many people are trying to say that night I was better?? are you kidding me??

tonight was spectacular...night I was a 8 out of 10 and tonight was about a 9.5 and my seats were better on night I

Pearl Jam has really gone to the max for this tour...this is by far the best job they have EVER done cleaning up old songs for performances...simply amazing and goes to show how poorly prepared they have been at times in the past after such a job well done this time around lol

I really didn't notice much difference in energy from MSG I...I thought it was pretty fuckin' rockin' tonight! I know a lot of people have griped about repeated songs on nights 1 and 2, but could it have something to do with the filming (DVD)? Perhaps the band wasn't happy with some of the performances last night so they replayed those tunes tonight? Who knows?

To the guy in Section 7, Row P, Seat 1...very cool that you and your girl rocked all night, and kind of cute how you two were so lovey-dovey, but if you're gonna turn your back on Ed everytime he opens his mouth about politics and war, you might as well have kept your back turned for half the setlist tonight. Talking about it is no good, but singing about it gets your spirit going? Just thought it seemed weird.

Thanks for 2 great nights everybody!
Damn I hate those people. I live in Florida. I know them well.

it was the original version from Ten. during the last NA tour, they played a reworked version.

    the original KICKED.

    Greatest. Show. EVER.

    IMO.

Had a better overall experience night 1. Was in section 406 tonight and was outside of the proper sound flow and getting alot of echo. Not to mention there were like 8 frat guys in front of me chain smoking cigarettes nonstop for the whole show. I will say this set list was more diverse and ambitious than night 1, but night 1 had something extra for me.
