My legs and my voice are gonna be completly shot tomorrow
Finally I got to hear Release
Black Diamond was surreal
Can't wait for Hartford
Oh Yeah Old Garden, stellar show
When you say old Garden do you mean; could you possibly mean; is it, is it really OLD GARDEN? Please answer me. I may be dying of some terrible malady and have only minutes to live... so I need an answer.
Good evening San Diego, I'm Ron Burgundy
And I'm Veronica Corningstone, Tits McGee is off tonight...
Thanks, as always to Ten Club, our seats were fifth row, Stone's side (he smiled at me). Loved SOLAT and RVM, love the back-up singers (they look like they are having so much fun!), glad to see C. J again, and sweet guest appearance of Ace ... though it would be better if the band kept the final farewells to themselves. Personally, I always love the Ledbetter ending, so tonight's was fine.
Like someone else said, it seemed that they repeated a lot from last night, and I was surprised, not disappointed, just perplexed. Slightly subdued energy on the floor compared to last night (and compared to other shows) ... it looked so great from up high last night, that I couldn't wait to get down there tonight, but every show is different, and this one was in all ways splendid. There was a very cute little girl in the row behind us, who had a sign that this was her first PJ show ... I hope she and here mom had a great time. There were also two ladies in front of us who were jumping around more than most of the people in the front two rows, so cheers to them.
The OLD...the TRUE old garden came back...awesome!!!!
I am simply shocked at how many people are trying to say that night I was better?? are you kidding me??
tonight was spectacular...night I was a 8 out of 10 and tonight was about a 9.5 and my seats were better on night I
Pearl Jam has really gone to the max for this tour...this is by far the best job they have EVER done cleaning up old songs for performances...simply amazing and goes to show how poorly prepared they have been at times in the past after such a job well done this time around lol
I really didn't notice much difference in energy from MSG I...I thought it was pretty fuckin' rockin' tonight! I know a lot of people have griped about repeated songs on nights 1 and 2, but could it have something to do with the filming (DVD)? Perhaps the band wasn't happy with some of the performances last night so they replayed those tunes tonight? Who knows?
To the guy in Section 7, Row P, Seat 1...very cool that you and your girl rocked all night, and kind of cute how you two were so lovey-dovey, but if you're gonna turn your back on Ed everytime he opens his mouth about politics and war, you might as well have kept your back turned for half the setlist tonight. Talking about it is no good, but singing about it gets your spirit going? Just thought it seemed weird.
Thanks for 2 great nights everybody!
Damn I hate those people. I live in Florida. I know them well.

it was the original version from Ten. during the last NA tour, they played a reworked version.
Had a better overall experience night 1. Was in section 406 tonight and was outside of the proper sound flow and getting alot of echo. Not to mention there were like 8 frat guys in front of me chain smoking cigarettes nonstop for the whole show. I will say this set list was more diverse and ambitious than night 1, but night 1 had something extra for me.
Great show, but I am sad to say neither night were epic shows.

I thought the world...Turns out the world thought me
We released, we raged, we danced, we wandered into a garden of stone to find a marker in the sand.
We were open, we wished and wished and wished:
"I wish I was vice president.
And Obama was president.
End all future war.
That's what a president is for."
We loved and trusted, flowed, rocked, flew, and fucking *went* when he told us to fucking *go*.
We ran into the rain, won the lottery by being born, made the building sway, and saw things clearer.
We promised, we asked, we jumped up and down like freaks, and then we celebrated because we're still alive.
We're still alive.
And as 22,000 of us plus boomstoneedmattjeffmike sang that together as one, I turned in a slow circle there on the floor and saw all of us, all of us with our hands raised.
We're still alive.
I hope to see you all back at the garden next time.

Obviously everyone has a different prospective based on setlist, energy level etc. I truly believe Night I was a far superior show (in it's entirety) than tonight. From start to finish the energy level never waned, the song selections meshed better plus I don't want special guests at a PJ show(unless it's Ben Harper). I know many tonight thought Cropduster was a treat but if you watched and listened to the crowd you could see/hear it deflated the energy level in MSG. But,all in all,2 great nights at MSG,,there is no such thing as a bad PJ show...but as for me,I'll take MSG I (and Camden I) over tonight!

to all of the people saying MSG 1 was better than tonight need to take a look at the setlist again. the vibe in the arena might have been a bit better but the setlist tonight was much more impressive as last night didn't get REALLY good until Present Tense where as tonight the boys were on and and the setlist was something to take in from the start. I won the lottery in Camden 1 but would have been nuts tonight to have won. Not the best show I've ever been to out of my 20 (happy 20th anniversary to me) but it was a great show none the less......
Thanks to the hawiians in front of me and the Germans next to me for putting up with my drunken singing and dancing!
Where am I going wrong? Very similar setlists each night; no surprises or hidden gems. Crowds were great and very loud, but overall, these were not the best shows I have seen or they have played, although they are playing extremely well this tour, but that goes for each show. NYC is just not what everyone makes it cracked out to be.

No, actually both had white/grey-blonde hair ... "bob-style" haircuts, good-looking, nice people, good dancers, knew all the lyrics. We were in section 1, aisle seats (aisle between sections 1 and 2) ... they were right in front of us ... two or three rows behind whichever Olsen twin was present tonight.
Just got back and I am wiped out. I've been to the past four shows...thats four in seven days. Too much for an old old 27 year old old man.
I thought tonight's setlist was on par with last night and honestly both nights in Camden. Solid, but not spectacular. The energy and crowd were fucking awesome for all shows but there wasn't anything that brought that "it" factor for the other three.
Tonight...that "it" factor came.....Ace Frehley....Matt drum solo during Even Flow....MIKE & MATT SINGING!!!!.....wishlist.....black diamond...the marker and betterman fuckups....that....is.....IT!!!!!!!!! Plus, I wasnt even supposed to be here tonight! Work tomorrow is going to be hell but at least I will have good music in my head
Great time tonight. I sat in section 44, thanks 10 club. Tonight's opener was much sweeter than last night's - Release sounded so good and the vibe was amazing. For me though MSG 1 was a better show. The energy reached a higher level for the crowd and band last night. Some great songs on the setlist tonight but the atmosphere and encores of last night were the tits. PJ is simply the best live band in the world, especially when they step inside Madison Square Garden!

i guess i was a little spoiled after winning the lottery last night, i sat in section 10 tonite.
the energy from the audience and the band was amazing, much better tonite.
i could have done without the 10 repeats, i thought the Setlist was better lastnite, but still cool 2nite.
loved the Release opener, Cropduster, and Garden was Great!!! (original Version)
Seeing Mike and Matt sing Black Diamond with Freely on Guitar was an incredible sight, Matt sings pretty good too
4 shows in 7 days, wow, such a AWEsome experience.
Thank you PJ

To all of you in sec 93, you guys fucking rocked the house tonight.
And also, I was pretty upset that they played World Wide Suicide tonight. My mother came with me to DC and MSG I and thats all she wanted to hear. It's clearly one of her favorites songs ever. Yesterday waiting in line for posters, some verizon was station was playing it and she nearly leaped for joy when she thought it was being soundchecked. And so, the night she doesn't go, it gets played. I felt pretty horrible about it and she literally cried when I told her that it got played... though a funny moment was when she yelled FUCK YOU EDDIE VEDDER. Ahhh...
Great show! I enjoyed it lots! Just as good as night 1, in my opinion.
i was chillin in sec 57 row b with some girl named nicole and she got kicked out (at the end when Ed gave his tamberines to the person in the wheelchair), for taking photos before I could ask her for her phone number.... WAAAAHHHH!!!!
Nicole, if your out there... that was a blast, thanks. let's get together again soon.
