Finally I got to hear Release

    Black Diamond was surreal

really good show though I enjoyed the first night better. I had fun with GTF tonight as well as with Cropduster, Garden, SOLAT and Release. I thought they were going to do more than they did with the second encore. Ace was cool but I believe firmly that PJ is better without guests and I think the show would have had a more triumphant feeling if it was just them in that second encore. Great time, Garden crowd is great. I should add I was in sec. 334 which i got through the 2nd 10c presale but it seemed to me that most of the people around were not ten clubbers.

Great, great show but lacked the sustained peak energy of last night.

The highs tonight were unbelieveable. But they were how almost the whole show was last night.
  • Awesome show, so many highlights and so many tour firsts. It was better than night 1 in my opinion.

FYI...Garden was the old school version from the album. Not the heavy version from the last tour.

I had the same experience. Section 95 sucked. Night 1 was way better. Looking back though, Release, Garden, and RVM were awesome. My section LOVED Last Kiss. Those who didn't leave early, anyway...

    tonight was soooo good!

better than last night and both camdens i thought. i had almost the exact same seats tonight as last - wings - and they were great. mike side last night; stone side tonight

Cropduster, Garden, Marker, I'm Open, Wishlist, State Of Love And Trust

all really good. it was the old garden. i think i like the reworked one better.

love WMA. black diamond was a little rough in the beginning; but cool nonetheless.

    matt cameron is a beast.

    my voice is finally shot.

    great night. :)

I was a bit underwhelmed after the first night, there was nothing WRONG with MSG II but the energy from the first night seemed stronger. And there was a lot of the same songs (not entirely) as well. Ace Frehley (sp?) was a nice surprise but well, I didnt need to go both nights I now feel.

And I'm pissed about how they handled posters and that the person I sold my 10C ticket to (at face) didnt even use the seat but hung out with some of his friends and did not pass the ticket to anyone who could have used it. I think he sat in the nosebleeds and my extra seat in section 78 was empty. Lame. Very Lame.

Fuckin' sick, sick show. MSG crowd is amazing. Gonna have to do a longer recap of my entire tour experience, but not tonight. Thanks to everyone for a great time.
you couldn't swing if you were hangin' from a palm tree in a hurricane.
  • We released, we raged, we danced, we wandered into a garden of stone to find a marker in the sand.

We were open, we wished and wished and wished:
"I wish I was vice president.
    And Obama was president.
    End all future war.
That's what a president is for."

We loved and trusted, flowed, rocked, flew, and fucking *went* when he told us to fucking *go*.

We ran into the rain, won the lottery by being born, made the building sway, and saw things clearer.

We promised, we asked, we jumped up and down like freaks, and then we celebrated because we're still alive.

    We're still alive.

And as 22,000 of us plus boomstoneedmattjeffmike sang that together as one, I turned in a slow circle there on the floor and saw all of us, all of us with our hands raised.

    We're still alive.

I hope to see you all back at the garden next time.

    Peace. Peace. Peace.

Mooks! Where were yous? I was in 203.
And I concur. I was beaming when I left. It was such a great show. I love when you look around and everyone has their fists pumped in the air in unison.
Mikey was on fire, jumping around like totally crazy. Ed did the Pete Townsend windmill on one of the encores but I forget which song it was.
I was so happy to hear Inside Job and SOLAT was also great, and WMA, Go was really great too
And ACE FREHLEY? Come on! Wow.
I almost fell over when they did Rearviewmirror. It was sooo soo good.

I give it two thumbs up!

I'm still singing Release too-I can't get it out of my head! Guys you have to get the bootleg for this one for sure!

First: PJ and NYC rock it out again.

I will concur with those who feel the sustained energy in the crowd last nite was much better. The floor was definitely not moving like last nite. I think it has to be hard to get the kind of energy created last nite again...it was a good effort but apparently all the factors were not aligned again to create not just great energy but energy of a different level.

My seats were much better last nite as well but it was cool to have a different perspective. Crowd was still great but just not like last nite. This is by no means a complaint. Thanks again to PJ, tenclub, and NYC. My Wife and I had a great time!

oh and by the way, when i got my tickets...i find out i got FLOOR??!?!?!? FLOOR WITH A 342xxx number?!

OMG.. my ears are still ringing, it was amazing on soooooooooo many levels. The set list BLEW away night 1 by a landslide!

Release to open was amazing. What a set list.. I enjoyed tonight soo much...

Im too tired to get into it all lol.

    I took some awesome pics.

  • I really didn't notice much difference in energy from MSG I...I thought it was pretty fuckin' rockin' tonight! I know a lot of people have griped about repeated songs on nights 1 and 2, but could it have something to do with the filming (DVD)? Perhaps the band wasn't happy with some of the performances last night so they replayed those tunes tonight? Who knows?

To the guy in Section 7, Row P, Seat 1...very cool that you and your girl rocked all night, and kind of cute how you two were so lovey-dovey, but if you're gonna turn your back on Ed everytime he opens his mouth about politics and war, you might as well have kept your back turned for half the setlist tonight. Talking about it is no good, but singing about it gets your spirit going? Just thought it seemed weird.

Thanks for 2 great nights everybody!

Great show. I probably liked it a little better than MSG 1, though they repeated a few more songs than I expected. Release was great. Black Diamond with Ace was a nice surprise.

Here are a few photos i took. My seats were in 312 - everyone was pretty cool up there and the vibe was great. I took a little walk around the Garden and took a few photos from some other (closer) locations.

Awesome show! And to think I was dreading getting the floor seats in the back. Energy on the floor definitely much better than where I was last night in the 400s. I enjoyed both shows very much, can't pick a favourite but this has definitely been the highlight of my summer. I guess I need to now find another band to fill in until the next PJ tour! I now regret not getting Beacon tix. Money, schmoney.

Oh, and highlights for me were Lukin, Rats, Given to Fly, Do the Evolution, Better Man, Alive (always!) and State of Love and Trust. Was hoping for Light Years and Daughter-It's OK but can't complain about 2 awesome shows! Oh, and Who You Are!! How could I forget that one?

Edited to add: THANK YOU 10C!! Tickets rocked.

I just want to thank the 10 Club for the amazing seats!!! Thank you Pearl Jam for an amazing set list. This was my first PJ concert and it did not disappoint! The crowd was in high spirits. The band rocked. I even got a Eddie Vedder guitar pick, AND the first swig of his very good bottle of red! Now that capped off the night.

Also was one of the lucky to get a poster- and was promptly solicited for it- I had to hold on tight!

Thanks again for a great concert.

I'm part to blame. I was simply too shot to go as hard to night as I did last night. Wanted to. but my legs, throat, and feet weren't having it though. Still tried my best and had a great time. However, would have to give the nod to last night (which is no knock on tonight.)

Also, they doubled-up on a lot more songs than I thought they would.

  • Tonight Ed was simply possessed by the crowd and we by him. I particularly enjoyed I Believe in Miracles, Who You Are and Alive. I wished for Black, but, hey, you can't have everything. My heart still feels warm and fluttery.

  • I can not believe the show was so different from last night.....
Did somebody show up in the crowd today ? ......

Night 1 was about 10 times better even though tonight's show had a couple of excellent moments.

Amazing show. I just wish they did less doubling up. Although everything they re-played I thought was better tonight. Just imagine how much better the set would have been if they replaced all the repeats with other stuff. I feel like there were some technical problems the first night and they wanted to show they could really rock those songs.

I thought both shows were incredible though. I wish every concert was as good as these two were. Just wonderful.
  • Tonight had to be the greatest experience of my life

Mike Mccready was amazing on guitar and Eddie was his typical self.

The floor was shaking so much during Better Man and Alive

I can't wait for this to come out on CD and hopefully they will put this out on DVD too it was that damn good
