...this show on an argentinian radio (called Day Tripper) made a contest "Churro del año" (it's like i dont know an exactly translation, something like a hot guy, someone you´d eat up :P) and Vedder got the third place.
I think he made a great great impression last november... a lot of newly girls and boys (in fact he got a better poll on boys) in love w him ....

anyway as always a futbol player got the first place (fuck) but interesting ...

girls what is wrong with you??? i almost passed out in Ferro

I almost passed out not only in Ferro, but everytime I see or listen to Eddie. He's so cute, sexy and masculine... so, Eddie: would you marry me? Jajaja, that's probably the request he have heard the most! But still I wanna be the mother of his children, so as 30000000 more women jajaja.

Increible, no podia creer mi suerte.

Aguante PEARL JAM, aguante Paraguay, aguante SUDAMERICA UNIDA!

    Hola locos

well man, he was pretty cool...he was reading the spanish speech right down from some papers he had near his microphone...I must confess that when I was at the show, there were some spanish words that I couldn´t understand, but then when I listen to the show its really clear...
And...he´s Eddie...what can we say to him???

    we just apretiate his effort...
    greetings from SA

I have got to find the river,

so many feelings went through my veins that night. i never thought pj would come to argentina and when i first herd it on the radio i screamt like crazy. the concert was the best, especially i think the day that i went, saturday. every little thing they did on stage was great. i thought vedder was very serious and not nice but he was actually very nice, caring, polite and a lot more than i had thought. when i left the show i went out with a totally new perspective of tha band and how they try to take care of everyone. now i cant stop listening to their records. i am all day long listening or/and singing their songs, which are great. i hope next year they could come again, cos i would go again, and again, and again.
    love, nurijam

"It's friday, november 25th. It´s been a hard year for me, lost my job, lost my love. I'm going to see my favourite band since I was 13 years old (I'm 27 now). I can't help it, I'm depressed, it's not the best time of my life. The lights go out, Eddie and the rest of the band are on the stage. The show begins, Breakerfall, Corduroy... I'm not the kind of guy that goes to the first rows, but this time it's impossible, I have to be there, closer to the band. It's simply amazing. Do The Evolution, Animal, the crowd goes mad, I'm one of them, one part of this sea of people. We sing together, I don't know any of them but feel like they are my brothers, we hug. Eddie says "Gracias por esperarnos (Thanks for waiting for us)". Thank you for coming. MFC, Even Flow, one of my favourite songs. I'm mine, Once, Eddie says "Everybody ok?", Yeah, "Us too". Daughter, Grievance, Not For You, where Eddie sings "Gracias por esperarnos". Given To Fly, Wishlist, Jeremy, it has to be a dream. A guy close to me looks at the sky and says "Thank you, god". I agree. Spin The Black Circle, Black, the best moment of the show. Now I'm crying, but I'm happy, so happy. Eddie says "We'd pay to see you sing, we should pay you". Rearviewmirror, the guys return after the break. The crowd keeps singing "Olé, olé, olé, olé, Pearl Jam, Pearl Jam", while Mike tries to get the notes for that song on his guitar. Eddie says "You are too good to us, I don't know if we deserve it, thank you so much". Once again, thank you, you deserve it. "We were talking in the back, this have to be as far as your voices and your energy, above all the years, I think this is the greatest audience we've ever played for", says Eddie. Unbelievable. "Es verdad (it's true) I mean no one sings the guitar parts, for christ sake", he adds. I Believe in Miracles, with just the crowd singing the chorus. Now Eddie is crying along with me, and many of us. He can barely sing. Save You, Betterman. More tears. The band comes back after another break. Eddie says "This have been an incredible memorable night for us. Thank you from us". Blood, Alive. Now I know I'm not dreaming, this is just too real, amazing. Yellow Ledbetter. Thank you, God. Thank you, Pearl Jam. I will come tomorrow as well. How can music, a band, change my feelings in such a way? I'm not the same guy that came through the doors two hours ago. I'm the happiest man in the world right now".
This was like 40 days ago, but I can't forget it, not even for one minute. The following night Eddie said "El concierto de anoche fue uno de los más memorables de nuestras vidas (Last night's concert was one of the most memorable of our lives)". It was the best experience of my life. I listen to the show everyday, and I cry everyday. Nice to know that there are many others who feels just like me, so I know I'm not crazy. But if this feeling of hapiness is being crazy, I'd rather being crazy.
See you soon. Peace, music, Pearl Jam. Enjoy.

Since when I first heard Pearl Jam would come to South America, I knew I would have to travel hundreds of miles to see them. Although I live in a huge brazilian city (3 million people), called Salvador (better known as 'Bahia'), no major foreign rock band has ever came here. So, as I saw the dates, I planned visiting Curitiba at first, and then taking another plane to visit the Iguazu Falls with my girlfriend. As this initial plans went wrong (she couldn't miss her job), I picked up some friends and decided to go to Buenos Aires in a short vacation time, since our currency is now stronger then Argentina's, and travelling to Bs.As. wouldn't be much more expensive at all.

I could spend dozens of paragraphs talking about my first international trip, about the wonderful atmosphere Buenos Aires has, about the way I almost literally breathed Jorge Luis Borges, the greatest writer ever, about the way I loved Argentina and the argentine people, despite our huge soccer rivalry and some unpleasant racism incidents involving argentine agressors and brazilian victims, that have never noticed how close we are to each other.

But this is a Pearl Jam forum and I must talk about Pearl Jam! The concert itself surpassed all my highly inflated expectations. As many of you have greatly described before, even the band considered that as one of their most amazing live performances ever! The audience played a key role, and the setlist, flawless but short, kept us full of enthusiasm every second. From my personal point of view, the chosen songs couldn’t be better: the greatest hits (Alive, Even Flow, Jeremy, Black, Daughter, Better Man, Evolution…), the harder ones (Animal, Blood, Save You, Grievance, Spin the Black Circle) and my personal ‘best of’ (Corduroy, Given to Fly, Rearviewmirror, Yellow Ledbetter).

What can I say in addition? Oh, it was great to hear twenty thousand people singing “Olê Olê Olê Olê, Pearl Jam, Pearl Jam” with a spanish accent, sounding like ‘Peuján’, and singing along with all of them. I came back to Brazil marveled by the city and knowing that that perfect Buenos Aires November 25th night provided me the greatest concert of my life, even if I have the chance to see them live once again.
