Yeah, 13 million views really is a LOT for this kind of band. I can't say I'm too impressed that Sirens is their big hit in terms of the public's tastes, but oh well.

I think if they had a record company help push the song and album it could be double or triple.
Wow, I am surprised, especially since Sirens did seem to have some mainstream success. Do digital sales count in regards to album sales? It seems today a lot of people don't buy or download an entire album, but just a song or two that they like. I would think this probably hurts overall album sales. Maybe with the Fall US Tour coming up sales will get a boost.

That was a wonderful speech. Triple thumbs up to Jeff's comments on collaboration. And yes, even though as always I felt the Grammys made some crazy decisions (but I know, it's all subjective, yadda yadda yadda), I fully agree that it's good they continue to recognize great album art even when in terms of mainstream releases there are few albums anymore and hardly anything physical to even package (hello, iTunes). Cool recognition.

13 million is alot for a band like Pearl Jam. Alot.
It sucks that, that Anaconda-song gets like 400 millions views... but I mean, compare it to some other artists and 13 is a feat.
And yeah, what the hell is wrong with the woman who announced the winner? Did she have money riding on one of the losers? Lol
Very, very nice acceptance speech.
Tim Bierman. Ha. How'd he get his name snuck in there
