So what is the overall total after all these weeks? 225k?
Somewhere around 290-300k
Cool thank you ! I wonder if this is considered a success?
yes. It's been in the top 50 for all except 1 week since its release. Albums don't sell that well nowadays except for a few artists. So if this was 10 years ago maybe double what it is now.
And compare their first week sales to Britney's. 166k to 108k. PJ debut at #1. She at #5.
Up here so high I start to shake, Up here so high the sky I scrape, I've no fear but for falling down, So look out below I am falling now, Falling down,...not staying down, Could’ve held me up, rather tear me down, Drown in the river
Hits Daily Double doesn't include catalog titles (and doesn't have complete Soundscan data), so the chart position there will be inflated and/or incomplete. "Lightning Bolt" is No. 65 this week on the Billboard 200, not No. 49.

Yea. For awhile Billboard didn't include catalog titles in the top 200. It had it's own separate category. Even in the singles charts there are a lot of older songs re-entering. They even count youtube views for the hot 100.

Yes, the YouTube thing is a travesty that has completely delegitimized the Hot 100. For Pete's sake, "Livin' On A Prayer" by Bon Jovi re-entered the Hot 100 a few weeks ago at No. 25 because there was a viral video of a kid dancing and lip-synching to the song at a basketball game. Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" returned to No. 1 last week because there was a viral video of a guy parodying the original music video. In neither of these instances were the views driven by the popularity of the song that plays incidentally in the video. Billboard needs to figure out a way to fix this because the chart now borders on being a joke.

I don't know, but I would guess around 10k. Pretty much the same as last week. #50 on hits was 15k sold.
In a normal week, they probably would have stayed around #30 - #40 on the chart. I counted about 20 - 25 Christmas / Catalog albums in front of them.
Somewhere around 290-300k
#49 11,293

same thing with harlem shake
Actually, it's number 60.
My bad. I thought it was updated. Well I was right. It sold more
Yes, but the week of sales reflected in this chart includes a full week of holiday sales, since it was for sales from December 16-22.
Yea I meant to type that now it will be in the 40-60s if it continues to stay in the 8-10k range. I thought I did.
