Surprised it hasn't gone Gold yet. Maybe it has and they haven't reported it yet. But last I heard it was at 400k. In the past that would be close enough to get a certification. Cause you know the next shipments are coming. But now that most of the sales are digital. it's a different story
It seems like this album should be approaching gold status by now. Next month it will have been 30 months since its release. I understand that albums aren't selling as well any more, but it seems like every Pearl Jam studio album should be a guaranteed gold album in the United States within approximately one year of release. Perhaps this final leg of the American tour in 2016 will finally push the total U.S. sales over the 500,000 mark. Hopefully the next studio album will have a couple hugely popular singles that will propel the album to gold status fairly quickly. I sure wish I had access to track the RIAA numbers for album sales so I wouldn't have to speculate about the timing of such things!

It costs too much to get those numbers. Someone here worked someplace where they got soundscan numbers. But they stopped getting them

I don't understand Sirens. Was it a hit or not? The numbers on youtube tell me it was a pretty big hit.

I like it when it's played live. Don't think it was a hit with PJ fans as most seem to treat it as a "piss break" at shows. Now I did hear it being played in the grocery store.... So it's reached some level of hit music.

It got 23 million vierws on youtube. That's half of Evenflow. and 2/3s of Alive.
