Removing multiple white Backspacers?

if a backpack is one per member, a limited white vinyl should be one per member. be happy you got ONE. no one deserves multiples. give me a break.I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.0

I have a difficult time trying to figure out who's telling me the truth and who's lying to me when we are standing face to face in the real world. There's no way I can't tell which words that pop up in a computer screen are truth ot fiction... especially, when I don't know every person on the other side of those words.

I think people on this board are really starting to get overdramatic. It's a white vinyl. There is a black vinyl with the exact same music available for sale on this site and in many other stores. If you really want this for the music, you still have options to purchase it.
If Santos said that there were a lot of people who went overboard purchasing multiples (likely more than 2), and these things have already started popping up on ebay, then I don't blame him for changing his mind.2003: San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Seattle; 2005: Monterrey; 2006: Chicago 1 & 2, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, Detroit; 2008: West Palm Beach, Tampa; 2009: Austin, LA 3 & 4, San Diego; 2010: Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbus, Indianapolis; 2011: PJ20 1 & 2; 2012: Missoula; 2013: Dallas, Oklahoma City, Seattle; 2014: Tulsa; 2016: Columbia, New York City 1 & 2; 2018: London, Seattle 1 & 2; 2021: Ohana; 2022: Oklahoma City0 -

The problem is, that "changing his mind" is illegal in this case.9/13/1998 - 9/15/1998 - 8/29/2000 - 7/2/2003 - 7/3/2003 - 7/11/2003 - 9/28/2004 - 9/28/2005 - 5/13/2006 - 5/27/2006 - 6/1/2006 - 6/28/2008 - 6/30/2008 - 5/17/2010 - 10/25/20130 -

Wether or not it was good intentioned or not people tried to take advantage of it buy ordering more than one. So you tempted fate and you lost.
I would suggest you all join the pearl jam fb group because let me say the communication on there last night was amazing towards pointing people here to buying it...it worked better than phone calls and went around the world fast...glad to see the international fans get a crack at something at a good hour.
responsibilty was held and your order was canceled..why does any fanclub member deserve to buy more than 1 of any limited item?? Because they have the money??? Greed??? Trade Bait?? Good intentions??
As I said... I would have had no problem had they turned around today (while the vinyl was still available) and said that multiple orders were being cancelled... they didn't... they said they were being honoured, therefore my friend didn't buy one cause I already had him covered. IF this was meant to be restricted to one per member, it should have been put up that way initially. Again, I would have had no problem with that at all. It's the way they handle these situations that defies comprehension. So, it's not that any of us wanted 2 copies or multiple copies, I don't even want the 1 I have right now... 10c continually leave a bad taste in my mouth and that bad taste gets reflected onto the band for me. It's a shame.Glaciers melting in the dead of night and the superstars sucked into the supermassive.0 -

Though the flip flop sucks, I am so glad the 10C did this, though I suppose they should have just cancelled all multiples first thing this morning. I don't feel bad for Sawyer or anyone else, the white issue of this record has been in high demand since BS was released and when you bought multiples you knew how much some had went for in the past. I don't care if your buying it for one friend of thirty, it was a members only item with a pedigree of being rare. You may have been trying to do the right thing for your friends but I am willing to bet a lot of others weren't, as such I hope this serves as a lesson to not be greedy next time.
Of course on the other side of the coin is guys who live in Canada like me who try to ship items together to save a few bucks, but at the end of the day if you're that hard up for an item you should be willing to pay the (sometimes rape) shipping.0 -

Sorry to be a little off topic...
At Alpine, I met a forum member who literally buys the merchandise to sell on ebay,
so he can see more PJ shows...
Is it right or wrong?
I don't know...0 -
First off its not illegal for a company to limit quantities...happens all the time. And the fact that it didn't state one person initially makes no difference.
Secondly, anyone that ordered multiples knew there was a good chance of them being cancelled because 10C always limits quantities on items like this. You took a chance and hoped to get multiples but you got caught...big deal. Get over it. I know you all say you were ordering extras for friends and family members but about 95% of you are full of BS.
This is a very limited item that should get in the hands of as many 10C members that truly want the record as possible...not friends or family members of ten clubbers.0 -

To me, it's wrong. However, there is nothing wrong with doing it..if that makes sense. :? And I think to be fair to that person you met, if he didn't do it..someone else would.

Not all of us are flippers. Some of us genuinely are buying for others. Me, I do Christmas shopping for a Secret Santa to spread some cheer.
It's funny that tickets are always sold in pairs. But when it comes to ordering anything else for a friend, it can't be done.
I propose to make it a limit 2 per member. If it's okay for tickets, why can't it be okay for anything else.9-28-96 Randall’s Island NY; 9-01-00 Camden NJ; 7-05-03 Camden NJ; 10-01-04 Reading PA; 10-03-05 Philly PA; 5-27-06 Camden NJ; 5-28-06 Camden NJ; 6-19-08 Camden NJ; 6-20-08 Camden NJ; 6-24-08 NYC NY; 8-7-08 EV Newark, NJ; 6-11-09 EV Philly PA; 6-12-09 EV Philly PA; 10-27-09 Philly PA; 10-28-09 Philly PA; 10-30-09 Philly PA; 10-31-09 Philly PA; 5-15-10 Hartford CT; 5-18-10 Newark NJ; 5-21-10 NYC NY; 6-21-11 EV NYC NY; 6-22-11 EV NYC NY; 6-25-11 EV Philly PA; 7-1-11 EV StL MS; 9-3-11 E Troy WI; 9-4-11 E Troy WI0 -
