my friend relax... I am saying what I think, not everyone is a FLIPPER but a lot of people are... kindly stop taking every comment against you, if you were trying to help your friend, I am really sorry, Yesterday I missed the Vinyl because was driving... and today got my chance, that's life... probably wasn't the right way to do it, but I think if Santos did it was because he saw some "nice shoppers", I apologize if I offended you...

It sucks that they changed the policy but I can see why they did it.

The few instances where people bought for other 10 club members really sucks but if you bought multiples for people who are not in the 10 club I really don't feel too bad about them canceling orders because this was supposed to be exclusively for 10 club members.

I am ready to take some shit over what I am about to say but it is karma

I'm sorry. I dont see how karma has anything to do with this. If you understand what karma is, it means your past actions will affect your future reciprocally.

This is more like a problem of those people buying excess ruining it for others. People who bought 2 should have been able to keep them. People who bought them yesterday when there was no limit should have been able to buy as many as they wanted in fact. If Santos wanted to remove the excess ones today he should have stated that first and not backtracked.

You can give anything you order through the 10C to another person. I go with my friend to PJ shows- I am the member and he is my guest. If he wants the Touring Band 2000 DVD I can't buy it for him? Let's not be ridiculous.

First off its not illegal for a company to limit quantities...happens all the time. And the fact that it didn't state one person initially makes no difference.

Secondly, anyone that ordered multiples knew there was a good chance of them being cancelled because 10C always limits quantities on items like this. You took a chance and hoped to get multiples but you got caught...big deal. Get over it. I know you all say you were ordering extras for friends and family members but about 95% of you are full of BS.

This is a very limited item that should get in the hands of as many 10C members that truly want the record as possible...not friends or family members of ten clubbers.

    Very good post.

if a backpack is one per member, a limited white vinyl should be one per member. be happy you got ONE. no one deserves multiples. give me a break.

The PJ20 Backpack was a brand new item and just released so sure limit it to one per member. The white vinyl was backstock sitting in a warehouse for a year or more before yesterday and, while maybe 10C had no idea how quickly they would be snapped up, they may have thought there would be less demand overall for something not nearly as new (though rare) since the album has been out.

There is a little bit of a difference between the two

If something is super limited and supposed to be 10 club members only I'd rather see as many copies go to 10 club members rather then friends of 10 club members. Since they didn't specify yesterday I don't think it is right to cancel orders though.

a company can set any limit they want as long as its stated prior to purchasing. therefore the consumer knows before entering into the agreement of purchasing a product what criteria, if any, needs to be met. as much as i'm against it, there was no limit set on the number of these ordered yesterday. therefore, the consumers who purchased multiple copies weren't breaching anything by putting 2 or more in their carts and thus are entitled to receiving however many copies they purchased.

today, they stated that there was a limit of 1. if somebody was able to purchase more than one today then they are the ones at fault by breaching the agreement and therefore deserve to have their order cancelled. legally, ten club is required to fulfill everybody who ordered multiples yesterday, as set forth by their terms of sale yesterday and receipt sent to the buyers. cancelling orders because you feel like it is a crooked practice but i expect nothing more from 10c

I would guess it became "illegal" when Santos posted that all orders from last night would be honored.

  • if they had a limit you would not be able to put them in the cart For example, the backpack. Only one could be put in your cart.
