Just talked to Okum (a board member here, you might know him?) he said the band didn't really seem to know that Neil was going to come out, like Mike and Neil only knew, said Ed looked about to burst into tears. Also said he saw the setlist and Chloe Dancer was actually added. Was not on the original setlist, just scribbled on there.

Was there in Montreal, where the show was almost perfect. Tonight, perfection was reached. I couldn't believe my ears as the setlist was unfolding. I saw Neil coming out of the hall before RITFW, second time I see him with PJ (after Toledo in '04). Crown of Thorns/Chloe Dancer... Even better than in my dreams. Will come back for more tomorrow morning.

Just as I was actually getting a little bored because they played so long.... out walks Neil Young during RITFW. And then my head exploded. And the place lost its shit.

And of course Neil turned it into an extended 15 min jam, with a 20-min ending.

    Yeah Chloe Dancer was added.

    Setlist changes from today:
Come Back was skipped, Ole was skipped, State was skipped

Chloe Dancer and Black were added

I could have missed something else, but that's what I saw from a glance at the soundboard area.

    Holy shit.

    AWESOME show.

10C gave me great seats . . section 119, front row (we were literally in the hocKey players' bench - at centre ice) with number 345xxx.

A nice subdued opening set tonight. Many slower songs which was awesome. My Corduroy and Even Flow streak came to an end after 7 shows but I didn't care.

    Highlights for me:

NOTHINGMAN - a song I was hoping to hear this tour. Awesome singalong.
BLACK - Mikey on fire tonight. Moving version
REPEAT OF THE "MAN" TRILOGY FROM BARRIE '98 (Nothingman, better man, Leatherman)
CHLOE/CROWN OF THORNS - are you kidding me? AMAZing. No words.
NEIL FUCKIN' YOUNG. 'NUFF SAID. Literally, I think it was a 12 minute version of RITFW

Still reeling. Will add more later......

    See you Wednesday in OTTAWA!!!!!!!!!

Man, I do not have the words to properly describe this show. Just amazing. Neil Young, oh Neil Young. Chloe/Crown was superb. Daughter/It's OK and Long Road were two other highlights. FINALLY got to cross Long Road off my ever-shrinking list of songs I have yet to hear live. This was easily one of the best shows I have ever had the privilege to attend.

One more night, one more opportunity to see the best band in the world, then back to Maryland.

Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns? Did that really just happen?
Neil Young? Surely, this is a dream.

I hope I don't wake up from this one.

Absolutely epic, thank you Pearl Jam, and Neil Young, for an awesome show and possibly the coolest moment I've ever seen on a stage. Seriously, how spritely is he? He was running around the stage like a demented school child, and what a solo! The guys faces were priceless, beautiful moment, too late to recut PJ20 or add another extra feature? Too tired to even attempt to articulate the feelings from the show, great crowd also, fantastic night. Here's to night 2.

Holy fuckballs. My mind has been blown. Crazy energy. Sick fucking show! Is it just me or was RITFW 12 mins? Whata show!!!!!

That was by far the most amazing show I have ever witnessed. I totally agree with what everyone else has said so far, especially that I don't think anybody but Mike knew that Neil was coming out. Eddie's face was awesome.

I never thought I'd get to hear the It's Okay tag and still can't really believe that I did, but then throw Neil into the mix and it's just insane.

I could not be any happier than I am right now.
