    Ballycotton, Ireland. It was an announced show. They never "sold" tickets. I just pestered the poor guys on facebook. I'll put up some videos on youtube soon. I sat 5 feet away from Glen the whole time. He even mentioned his "friend" who dared him to write a sad song on the uke. I wonder who that was. :lol:

    I can...but it's very quietly in the background...he should have sang a whole verse himself. If you listen torwards the end you can hear him sing "Don't Cry Now"

    Fans of Glen Hansard! Glen will be performing a special LIVE ON LETTERMAN set next Thursday, December 12 in NYC.
    First lucky fans who reply may be able to attend - bring a friend you get a pair of tickets (2 tickets).
    Please note - travel and accommodations are not included, only a pair of tickets to the performance if you are a winner.
    You will need to be at the Ed Sullivan Theater by 8 PM. Performance starts promptly at 9 PM.

    Couple notes for clarification.
    -Glen is appearing on Letterman TV show solo Thursday, Dec 12th, doing "Step out of the Shadows".
    -The folks at Letterman have offered us the chance to do a 45 minute set after the TV show ends.
    -This event takes place at The Ed Sullivan Theater and will happen with a full band.
    -If you can't make it to NYC, the event will also be webcast at CBS.com or Vevo.com, live that night.
    -We do have a limited number of spots for folks from Frames message board and our usual cast of repeat offenders :)
    - Email Howard with the subject "Glen Letterman" for a pair of tickets at: <!-- e --><a href="mailto:Howard@overcoatmgmt.com">Howard@overcoatmgmt.com</a><!-- e -->.
    -There are no secret shows in the works. This is your one chance to see Glen until likely later next year.

    Ah thanks. I didn't win. Another guy did(and he cheated) but anyways. I've seen em 35 times and I've had beers with ed. i can't complain. I've had more than my fair share.
    Now. How about this Europe announcement tomorrow? Hehe

    So Glen is playing Live on Letterman tomorrow night. Had no idea. They usually web stream these no?

    Anyway I entered this contest and won. Now just have to talk the wife into letting me go. Had work events almost every night this week.

    The Letterman show is great. It's weird to see Glen sing Falling Slowly by himself. He almost always does that song as a duet.
