He is also playing Union Chapel in September. I bought my ticket a while ago so don't know if it is sold out or not.

A very nice friend *waves to melbourneflower* picked me up a Barbican ticket a week or so ago.
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

Confession: I haven't got this on record yet.
    You should, it's fantastic! :D
Oh, I've d/l'd it, just haven't got round to pick up the record yet. The DL is on my lost laptop, so that's gone anyways. Don't have a computer of my own, nor an ipod at the moment, so it's gonna need to be a record.

Figure there'll be one in the merch stand next Monday or Tuesday, can snag one then. Or a coupla months later when there's another headline London show. It's all good, I'll get it one way or another

dimejinky and melbourneflower might be more shocked that I confessed as such ;)

That IS shocking Hinnmeister - we need to sort that out!!! :D

    Roll on Union Chapel :D
  • I managed to catch Glen at Rough Trade. It was the first time I ever seen him live and I was very impressed.

I got a CD signed for Leanne afterwards as she couldn't make it down. He seems such a genuine, pleseant guy.

I would like to envision a scenario where I could make it to the Barbican but we shall have to see.
  • He's also playing Manchester in Feb

And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
    I stand alone without beliefs

Really enjoyed the song in Odd Life of Timothy Green. Looking forward even more to the Vedder show this November!

Saw Once the Musical today and thought it was better than just good, but not absolutely fantastic. I'd give it a really good! Definitely worth seeing the Broadway interpretation, I think, but for me Glen and Marketa and the movie blew the show out of the water. The actor playing The Guy was good, being a big Broadway fan I was upset it was Steve Kazee's alternate (Steve Kazee normally plays The Guy and won the Tony this year for Best Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of it), but I thought he did a pretty good job. His acting was stronger than his singing, IMO. Again, that's probably a nobody-compares-to-Glen thing :)
