anybody catch the segment on Rodgers on ESPNs "E60"? It was really good

No I missed it! Hope there's a replay.

Kinda feel bad for the Rams right now, with all their injuries this one should be brutal. But Al Harris is playing this weekend, I bet he'll get a huge welcome from Lambeau!

It was pretty much his life summed up in 15 mins, his mom and dad were interviewed so that was pretty cool too

Yeah the Al Harris thing should be interesting, damn he used to be good, I remember when I first started liking the packers I had no idea what I was talking about (I was like 12) and the only players I knew were Brett and Al

Sweet!! Did you ever see that interview with him where he's on the beach with that one chic and he's playing the guitar? Can't remember the station it was on but I'm pretty sure she fell in love with him on the spot.

He was the best CB in the league...probably would still be up there if he hadn't gotten injured. I always liked him a lot too, was super bummed when they got rid of him.

haha no I never saw that, but I think if he had been healthy from 07-09 that could have been a huge difference maker and last years ring could have been one for the thumb

All these Pack wins are really destroying my liver!!!

Now that I'm a little more sober than I was on Sunday...I have to admit that I'm honestly a little upset that we didn't score more points against the Rams. The Packers have a tendency to kind of lay down when they're ahead and it drives me bonkers. I'm not looking for Belichick style plays, I just think that they get too comfortable too soon.

Correct, they don't have a "tendency" to do it, they ALWAYS do it, last year wild card, james jones drops a pass that would have ended the game but instead it was a nail biter that went down to the last play, week one this year, we are all but killing the saints but somehow it came down to a play at the goal line......those are just the first 2 examples of many that come to mind , I would also say the super bowl too but I think that had a little more to do with unexpected and costly injuries

Yes exactly!!! Those are the games I was thinking of too. We very easily could have - and almost did - lose the title game last year...why does McCarthy choose to keep putting them in that situation?!

Yeah he always goes run run pass in the second half when they are up, and usually the pass is like a screen or a big shot down the field so it doesn't work most of the time then the other team gets good field position and their all hyped up from the big stop on D, I say let Rodgers do his thing AT LEAST through the 3rd quarter and even in the 4th go for an easy pass on 3rd down, I understand he's just trying to run the clock down but it's not gonna hurt anything to put 7 more on the board

And after seeing what teams are willing to give when they are in need of a QB I say if we have a playoff spot clinched towards the end of the year we let Matt Flynn start a few games, that way if he does good, which I think he would, we could possibly trade him in the off season for some draft picks or maybe some decent secondary players

I like this idea a lot. This weekend ESPN already started with the 'path to perfection' crap but I hope and don't think that the Packers are concerned about that at all. Flynn did well for us in the few games he's played and as long as we clinch, I want to see what he's capable of. I don't know about trading him though...I like knowing that there's a good QB in the wing in case anything happens to Rodgers!

Yep it sure was. So insanely frustrating. We also let AP get WAY too many yards. I'm hoping that after the bye Shields will be healthy enough to play and we'll come back strong...San Diego's gonna be a tough game!

yes it will be, probably are hardest game left considering the 2 straight losses by the lions, I'd imagine it will be just another day on the job for Rodgers but I'm not so sure about the D........If you watch closely clay Matthews almost gets to the quarterback but just misses by a few feet on like every single pass play, I think if he could get just 1 or 2 steps faster we could have the D we had last year

I'm glad you brought up Clay, he's nowhere near the performance he was at last year. Maybe that injury is finally starting to catch up with him? In fact, I think Hawk might be doing better than him this year. Although I've always felt that Hawk's been underrated. But you're right, offensively I think we're solid, but that D needs some real work if we're going to get a repeat SB performance!

I agree, and don't let Woodsons league leading 5 INTs deceive you, he's making a lot of dumb mistakes while trying to get those INTs
