pain
Oh, you mean all the pain we're going to be dishing out to the Bears again this year???
Mr. T...Rocky III. One of the most underrated actors of this generation.
Me too
I wonder what crappy country artist NBC will have for the NBC kick off special :( ugh
It's always interesting who they have.
Thanks! That was a great game and I have to say that if we were going to lose, the blow would have been lessened if it was to the Steelers - I have mad respect for that organization. Gotta admit I'm nervous - our players have been talking about a repeat ever since the celebration at Lambeau, I just hope they don't get too overconfident!
I felt the same way losin to the Packers, especially since Mike McCarthy is a Pittsburgh guy, either way a classy team was gonna win...the players should be confident, in my opinion Rodgers is the bes qb in the league, they will only get better.
Rodgers has proven to be consistent, and as long as we have protection for him I think he's going to be amazing for us for a long time. It's last year's concussions I worry about. I was also happy when we were under everyone's radar, I think it helped the players to focus and play the way they needed to. Now that they're in the spotlight it's tough to say how they'll react. I think we're going to lose Barnett this year, but there's so much depth there that I don't think it'll really hurt us.
not really.
i try to avoid turning on games until just before kickoff. all the pre game shit blows.
milking the cows :?:
You stay out of this thread or I'll be inclined to remind you how the Pack beat the Bears in the NFC Championship game last year!!!!
oops looks like I just did!
don't get too big a head....bears are loading up for a run to the top of next year's draft board
I don't understand a thing that the Bears are doing right now, but I'm happy they're doing it! Looks like we'll have to worry more about the Vikes and McNabb this year...and I'm still not counting out the Lions. Gonna be a tough division.

And Clubber Lang one of the great movie villains of all time.
"Boy, awesome. Awesome."

So many cool things happening around PJ20...... I'm giddy
I need a vaca really bad too
That's gonna be a tough game for sure but no matter what happens it's going to be exciting!
over/under on which game he gets knocked out for the season? i'll take teh 2nd game
I told you to stay out of my thread!! Hey since you're here....if Matthews played half a season with a broken leg, what was Cutler's excuse in the Championship game?
go read the SI article on Cutler.

Haha, well in that case, I'd give him a game and a half!
That's a pretty good article, not gonna lie. You know, when all that happened I felt like the Bears organization really screwed Cutler over. They should have given him crutches immediately. And I seem to remember them saying that he had a small tear in his leg. What they should have done is hyped up the injury and stood behind him. Instead, everyone thinks he's a pussy because of the way they handled the whole thing. And for pete's sake get that man some protection! He is a very talented player but when his O-line isn't there to protect him he can't perform the way he should be performing.
While it certainly is impressive, let's not forget that people run marathons with stress fractures.
I ran a half marathon in the spring with a guy who had three stress fractures. While they hurt like hell, they are rarely debilitating.
The Cutler comparison isn't really fair. A stage 2 tear of the MCL means you can't move laterally and for a QB, that also means you can't plant your feet to throw.
Either way, I think this division is gonna be a slug-fest this year! I can't wait for it to get started!!
