Well like it or not looks like Finley is getting the franchise tag
Guess that means Driver's gone.
I heard he said that he would take a pay cut in order to stay with the team........makes me sick though, one of the most loyal veterans in the game gets fucked over while the cocky asshole that drops more passes than he catches gets the franchise tag

Complete waste of a roster spot with Finley. Let that piece of shit go back to Texas where he belongs.

I mean I don't know, Mike McCarthy says he works harder and puts in more time than anyone on the team, and other than right after he makes a big catch he seems like an ok dude, when him and Rodgers said something to each other and laughed right after their miscommunication in the playoff game I really thought that said a lot about both of their characters, guaranteed they both felt like shit but had the class to forgive each other and laugh about it in a matter of seconds. So really the only thing I have against him is the few seconds of arrogance he shows after a big catch and that he drops a lot of passes.

My biggest thing is his arrogance too. Do your damn job, catch the ball and act like you've been there before. If you score a TD, fine, celebrate, but not after every damn first down. Save the arrogance for teams like Philly and Dallas. Green Bay is above that arrogance BS,and I don't think he fits well into the culture of the Packers. Get rid of him!

That's practically every RB, WR, and defensive player in the NFL. Most times it doesn't even take a 1st down or a big stop. I think if the refs are gonna be so stingy about TD celebrations, they need to cut this shit out. I'd bet more than half the plays in the NFL have some sort of celebration after them. TDs, sacks, 4th down stops are about the only thing worth celebrating at all, other than that throw the flag.
Update on Driver I heard this morning...you're right Zach, he said he'll take less money to stay on the roster this year
Apparently though, the Packers said that this is the last year that they'll keep him...they're not used to being sentimental but dammit it's Donald Driver and I'm proud that they're doing this for him. The only thing I'm worried about is that he's said many times that he wants to play until he's 40, which means after next season he'll have to go somewhere else. Can't even imagine him wearing colors other than green and gold.
As for Finley, ah gahd.

Huge waste of money signing Finley. Would love to see what Lombardi would say to a worthless loudmouth bum like him.
