He better keep Rodgers and Green Bay management on his Xmas card list for getting him at least $10M for playing mop-up duty.
Think he will end up pulling a Cassel?
Good question. Yeah, he had that game where he threw for 6 tuddies, which was amazing, but how possible is it that he'll consistently be that good? Sure it's a gamble but I do think it's a gamble worth taking. Plus, he'll be going up against Tarvaris...they really can't do worse than that, can they?!

Pretty excited about the additions of Jeff Saturday and Anthony Hargrove, Hargrove will simply help the god awful pass rush, hopefully take them out of the bottom 10 worst pass defenses. But Saturday is a huge plus IMO, not only is he great but this allows for the pick up of a center in the second or third round who can sit behind one of the best centers in the past ten years and learn from him.

I'll bet they pick the kid from Wisconsin. Nice story about him in today's local newspaper.
I have a feeling there's gonna be a nice little competition for them from the Bears this year...but I have no doubt that the Bears will get swept yet AGAIN!

nice to see you guys have a tough opener...unlike our Indy opener :P

I can just see it now....if the Pack lose to the 49ers and the Bears win to the Colts...all I'm going to hear from Bears fans is how much better the Bears are than the Packers...because that's clearly comparing apples to apples!

not from me.
it just makes for a better opponent for us on a short week turn around. in theory, you guys are going to be in a rough and tumble game into the 4th (hopefully), where as, we hopefully get a rookie QB making his first NFL start, resulting in the starters getting to rest in the 4th (hopefully)
In other news my grandma tells me that Driver is doing very well on dancing with the stars, and I saw something on espn about the phone lines being backed up from so many people trying to vote for him. I may have to put my dignity aside and start watching this show.

No I know, you're actually a football fan, most of the people I deal with are blind followers.
It would be much better if the Packers were playing the Colts in week 1
