Why are these guys at PJ20 ?

What Josh has done on stage I see as a good thing, you don't fuck around with the performing band or you get what's coming to you. Josh was embarrassing him infront of the other fans who are there to support the band they want to see. He obviously wasn't going to kick someone in the head, but if you come to my show and throw stuff at me, I'm going to do the same thing to you.

if he's not in the band anymore the point is moot. the band kicked dave a out because he didn't have the same viewpoint as the rest of the band. not every band has the psychic abilities to predict who will be an ass and who will be cool.

1. The most recent news article has nothing to do with PJ20 since that guy hasn't been in the band for years like everyone else said.

2. Josh Homme seems like a fucking prick based on those youtube clips as well as others I just watched. It's like his "thing"... he fucks with people who don't behave themselves in the crowd. Seems a little over-reacting if you ask me. I agree with the title... what are they doing at PJ20?

3. I saw QOTSA once after they had their big hit. I wasn't that into their music so I don't really know a lot about them, but I honestly remember nothing about the show other than it was way too fucking loud (wore earplugs the whole time) and that they played No One Knows (surprise).

4. Them Crooked Vultures album is pretty damn awesome. Elephants/Scumbag Blues/Bandoliers is probably the best 3-songs in a row on one album of the past decade.

6. He stole "eat a bag of dicks" from Louis CK. Dude's insults aren't even original.

7. Maybe everyone should throw quarters at Josh at PJ20 just to see what happens. Will he go crazy? Will Ed come out and do the quarter rant for QOTSA's encore? Let's see...

Josh Homme sort reminds me of the obnoxious middle school kids you hear at the mall who have just learned how to swear, but don't yet realize that adding as much profanity as possible into every sentence doesn't make you a "big man". Sure, Ed's said some stuff on stage before, but I'd say lines like "turn the fuck around you chickenshit fucking faggot, fucking pussy motherfucker" reach an entirely different level of stupidity and arrogance.
Just because a guy is in what a lot of people consider to be a good band, doesn't mean he's not a dick with an overinflated ego.:-|

Ok. Now I see what you're kind of getting at. I probably shouldn't have posted the clip about the former member but when I read it it made me do some looking around...and when I came upon how much of a dickbag this Josh guy is it amazed me. From following the band for almost twenty years, the band or any of their opening acts doesn't have as much bad press as this douche. I'll be glad when they are off the stage and let the real celebration start.

You don't get it. This kid attacked him, by throwing something at him. No one enjoys having things thrown at them. This kid was being a little prick. When you are a musician it's your job to get out there and entertain people, it's more hard work than you think it is to get up on stage every night and play infront thousands of people. Josh although a little over the top, gave that kid what he had coming to him. If you noticed the security escorted the kid away from the crowd, and hopefully kicked him out of the concert. If you pay big money to see a band play, don't fucking throw shit at them, or expect to get told off. The fact that you are trying to shun Josh/QOTSA by giving these self righteous responses which are just expressing your opinion that is "wah wah Josh Holmes is a meanie and a bully, and I'm going to boycott watching them because I think that telling someone off for attacking you is wrong". I'm not trying to personally attack you, I just think you should look at this from a more sensible approach.
