Here are some obscene tirades from the lead singer towards some fans including the use of the word faxxot. I just wonder what are these guys doing at PJ20? He definately is homophobic. I personally want nothing to do with these guys and I won't be watching them.

I know he's out of the band now but still. Also, the tirades and slurs towards people in the audience is scary. I just can't believe that at any moment somebody performing at PJ 20 could start calling Ten Club members and other PJ fans faxxots and cxxksuckers and threatening physical violence.

I think this guy is an ex for a reason- as in the rest of the band didn't share his views. I don't think Josh is homophobic at all. I know he said a word that is not polite in the least. I have to be honest it was a word we use to say without a care when we were younger. Obviously that has changed with maturity and understanding. I am going to give him the benefit of a doubt and say he just was so pissed he said the word that came out first. I don't agree with the word but he can't take it back either. These guys are going to be great. I saw them at the house of blues in Boston and it was fantastic. I can understand you don't like them or their music but to say birds of a feather doesn't mean anything. They will be the 2nd best band of this festival hands down.

Um, nooooooooooooo it's not like saying that. At all.

Sometimes you really make me question your thought process.

Just saying I guess that just because they make great music they can get away with threats and name calling? Some serious name calling that has caused unstable enough people to kill themselves. My seats for Sunday will propbably be somewhere arouind the fourth row or so and he'll be staring at two empty seats where I'm supposed to be. I know it doesn't matter, but to me I won't put up with his bullshit.

Yes I did see he was an ex member it only said it in the article that I linked and in my original post in the first sentence. I'm just putting some info out there for others to see. You want to watch them...great...I'm not going to and that's that. Personaly I couldn't care if they missed the entire festival. I'm not looking to be sold here on the musical talents of this band.

With all due respect OP, why does PJ, you or myself want to be the conscious of another person?

PJ shouldn't have to be the police force of the worlds bands.

I'm sure the guy was angry and had reason to be so. His choice of insults wasn't cool, but people say dumb stuff when they are angry.

    MHO

I will only see a little of them too, because I'm there for one reason. Never heard any other band playings music. Not really interested.

Telling someone you are going to beat the fuck out of them is quite different than what came out of that Josh Hommes mouth. I didn't hear Eddie calling him a faxxot or coxxsucker. I didnn't hear him tell him to eat a bag of dixxs. And I certainly didn't hear him tell the fan he was going to buttfuxx him. I just can't imagine how scared that fan had to be walking to the stage as this monster of a lead singer is berating him. Just not called for. Please I'm not trying to create some bitch session. I just put it out there so people could see it if they haven't already. That's it.

I hear no name calling or threats. They had shoes thrown at them and they threw them back. Overall I think it was handled very well by a very young band.

No excuse for slurs to audience members.

Really not cool to call out a single member of the audience like that, definitely could put someone in a dangerous situation.

As for their musical merit, very middle of the road in my opinion.

Nick was fired in 2004, so he has been out of the band almost 8 years now. That said, I have more of a problem with Josh picking on a little kid. Go have security throw him out, you don't have to act like a bully. Now if he was going off on some Brock Lesnar looking dude, instead of the weakest looking guy at the show...

I donno. I hope none of that shit happens since most will be old PJ fans.
