i looked at your team and was like...damn, that's a short bench. 1/4 of your roster tied up in kickers and defense.

still some decent prospects out there you can pick up and you want to risk your kicking depeth.
Man, I've never even drafted more than one kicker before last night. I usually just wait until my kicker's bye week and then pick someone else up. But I figured with the 20-man rosters, if I drop a decent player to rent a kicker for a week, I'd be SOL.

Hell, I hardly ever draft a backup defense.

I really don't know what you're so worried about - Rodgers & McCoy are solid picks. McGahee's going to get a lot of red-zone play so that'll work in your favor.

it's a solid starting line up, but not much after that.

i do like the nate washington pickup. he could be a decent bye week player.
I'm really not worried. I always think my team sucks right after the draft. Sometimes I'm right. Sometimes I win my league's championship. I like to prove myself wrong.

Washington could be good now that he's got someone who can actually throw the ball to him.

Yeah. I didn't say he'll do an excellent job of throwing it. Just that it's something he can do.

i've checked in with the Hellfires.

She claims to be pleased with her picks and knew we would laugh at some of them.

I do know she gets the NFL package so she should know something about football, but i for one, wouldn't swap teams with her.

Get me the Steelers D and we can talk. They're the only pick I really wanted but didn't want to look foolish picking them early. Now I just feel like a fool.

Really? I think the Packers D will be better this season. Polamalu will still be amazing but I predict Clay the Manbeast will take over in sacks this year. Battle of the hair!

Steelers aren't the best fantasy D but they are consistently good year to year. Ands it's a homer pick. Matthews is not a difference maker in the Polamalu is but I hope he plays great this year.

Ahh didn't realize you were a Steelers fan! Great team man. Honestly if they were playing anyone else in the Bowl last year I would have been rooting for them. I played in an IDP league 2 years ago and had Polamalu - he's the reason I got 2nd place that year!

I picked that match-up last year in the playoff brackets I do with freinds. I did pick the Steelers to win though even though I knew the Packers were the hot team. Still no one else was even close(neither SB team picked correctly). Hope it's the same match-up again with different results.

looking at my team last year makes me sad

Johnson AND Foster with Forte. all top 10 backs

Jennings and White. both top 10 wide outs

Cutler as the 15 rated qb

Gates as the number 3 TE even tho he missed a ton of games.

    :(

The year the Saints won the SB I had Brees and Favre on my team (in that league we could use a QB as our OP and that's my league where the QBs get the most points). Think I had Barber as my RB - I was friggin unstoppable that year. Brees alone got me 97 points one week.

    Ahh the good old days.

Looks like Johnson and Foster are both Twitter freaks these days, gah!

Went to the Bears/Browns "game" last night. Our seats were right in front of the Cleveland TV booth.

So look who was right behind us the whole game (sorry the picture is so blurry)...

Oh that's right, forgot you took Jennings! you wanna trade? I'll give you TO. It may sound a tad unfair, but then you wouldn't have to root for a Packer and then everyone's winning :D
