and with the 12th pick, in the 18th round, mammasan selects bernie kosar.

Berman - He's been retired for a decade and he is STILL the best brown fantasy bet

At the end of the day the top 4 people are golden no matter what.

But will I be picking one of those 4 players???

funny, i feel like i'm a little screwed with the #3 pick.. also, i'm curious who you have at 3 and 4, because i'm afraid i might be targeting who you have at 5 :?

anyways, i haven't looked forward to a draft as much as i am tonight's in a few years... should be a good league for years to come.

alot more complicated than a normal league with the need to draft for today as well as tommorrow. in a normal league i know exactly who i would draft, with this one, i'm not quite as sure, although i have a pretty solid idea.

i think it is more complicated, but not too much... because of the turnover in the NFL, i expect only slight variances (on the side of youth) in the picks as compared to a traditional draft.

but we'll see... maybe sam bradford goes ahead of tom brady and i'm an idiot :)

Yeah same here - this is my first franchise league which makes it completely different from all the other drafts I've done. It's a helluva lot of fun though!

it will be interesting to see what happens as the season progresses. i expect we will see a few more trades with this format. 12 teams with 20 man rosters won't leave much in the way of waiver wire pickups.

Well, I'm all set for tonight.

And by all set, I mean that I have done almost no preparation for it. I was going to spend a few hours prepping last night, but unfortunately I had to take my daughter to the emergency room.

(It's never too early to start making excuses for a shitty draft.)

Thanks. She's fine. It was an allergic reaction, but nothing life-threatening.

It's not like she fell into the sinkhole at the end of our block or anything like that.

the only question that remains is, will foster slip to me at number 2.

How about you let him slip down to me at number 6? Please? I was able to draft him really late last year and it turned out to be fantastic. Now with this keeper league, it would be freaking awesome.

i was tossing in my 20th so that he could draft somebody vs. wait for free agency to fill the last roster spot.

    how kind of you.

i'm in south florida fearing this hurricane and i'm headed to washington dc tomorrow where earthquakes are going down... probably shouldn't get on a plane with this kind of crap going on around me... but at least i'll have this damn draft taken care of.

less than two and half hours to go before foster falls to me at #3...

i'm open to offers for foster or the 2nd overall pick if anyone has their heart set on somebody. i might even be willing to take a 2nd and 3rd rounder for my 1st round.
